Always a Good Choice
My husband wears these every day to work. He’s working where there’s a lot of mud and crazy terrain. His only complaint is that his feet get hot, but other than that he seems to like them, they are sturdy, and look better than most of his other choices. He is 72 so the fact that he’s still going is pretty great. Retiring is not in the foreseeable future so he better have the decent workhorse shoes! These are doing the trick!

Great Shoe
Was looking for a good comfortable travel shoe and although I went with the LL Bean Elevation for a more casual city walking style, the Access shoes were so close to my final choice. Just a little heavier. And by that I mean sturdy and Ideal for trail hiking/climbing. Good grip and very comfortable.

Great hiking shoes
very comfortable hiking shoe.
I have done several day hikes with these shoes thus far.
Great traction and easy on your feet.
Great water proof design. Crossed several slightly water covered trails. with no wet socks.
it is a top notch shoe with out the over the top top notch price.
I will buy this shoe model again.

Too hot.
I bought these boots for light hiking and did get the waterproof version. I wore them twice and found them to be too hot for me. I had thought they might have a waterproof lining like Gortex which would not be hot. But I discovered the uppers is made of a plastic-like material which doesn't breathe and doesn’t give like leather. I also would prefer a wider to box.
