Water bottle pockets
I have a slightly older version of this backpack. Love it except the water bottle pockets are not very deep and my water bottle ~16 oz constantly falls out, even through it is cinched. I Attached a carabiner clip to the clasp on the water bottle top and though it no longer gets completely detached it still falls out I have to stop and put it back in the water bottle pocket. Perhaps newest version has deeper pockets?? Overall a great day pack.

Roomy overall and pockets more than adequate for water bottles. Shoulder straps are a good width for easy on/off and stay in place.

Waist straps can be tucked inside the padded area
Something I thought was cool was the waist straps can be tucked under the back padded area. Sorry the lighting is bad but I took a picture with the waist straps tucked away

Comfort over the miles!
Love the fit and feel! This was an upgrade for me from a simple sinch pack. Easy access to water bottles on side and to snacks I keep in front pouch without removing pack. I didn't necessarily mean to buy the 'plus', I'm 5'2 and approx. 135lbs, but was too excited to use versus returning. The fit and feel on my shoulders and back over 15+ miles, is very comfortable!

Idea Travel Day Pack
Nice very lightweight backpack for day excursions. Purchased for an Alaskan cruise with port stops. Easily fit rain jacket and pants, a water bottle, binoculars, snacks, sundries and little first aid kit, with room left over. Weighs next to nothing to pack into a suitcase, and folds into its own pouch so a small footprint.

Purchased this bag for a week long National Park trip to visit Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon and used this as my carryon backpack for the flight. Extremely spacious and loved all of the pockets. The side pockets hold two huge water bottles and have clips so they don't fall out. Very happy with this purchase!

My new go-to travel pack
Needed a small day pack for a trip to Copenhagen and Norway. Already had an LL Bean small suitcase for my carry-on, but I needed something to fit under the seat which would also be an easy-to-carry daypack. This fit the bill perfectly.
The interior easily carried the stuff I needed for the trip, including kit and the next day's clothing, etc. The iPad Pro fit in the covered sleeve at the back. The outer "pocket" worked well for my jacket and other easily stuffed items. Water bottle etc. fit securely in the sleeves for that purpose. Just what I needed.
I have more than a couple of LL Bean packs I have used over many years, but all were larger; this fit the bill perfectly and I expect to use it regularly even when not travelling by jet.

Like, but have a question
I used this day pack for a 1 week vacation in AZ that involved flying & car travel. It served as my airplane carry on & i was able to put my small shoulder purse inside to meet the 1 carry on requirement. I liked the size & especially the chest clip & wide straps.
The only negative thing is that I have is that I don't know how to shorten the straps at the bottom of each of the front shoulder straps so they don't wave around. Am I missing something - like the small bands that are included with the straps across the lower back??

How I like waterproofing.
I e joy the fact that my packed stuff doesn't get wet and the straps help me carry my load. The side pockets are helpful for I am able to pack my water canteen or bottle with my snacks.😊

The biggest compartment zipper goes too far down on the bag. It makes it hard to unzip quickly. The straps are also too long. My older bag was a better design. I just wanted a second one to use with my grandkids when out and about with them.

Nice pack, but the shoulder strap webbing is at least two feet longer than necessary. Why would design inspection not flag this feature? Definitely needed to be cut and sewn.

The bag is a quality bag for sure, love the look and feel of it, pockets are just the right amount for good functionality, but I took a star away because it requires ALOT of work to pack this thing up. I feel like I am fighting with the bag when I want to pack it away.

Made for very, very large people
There is a lot I like about this pack. It is light and small enough for day tripping. Something you can stuff a rain jacket and some water in, and then some. However not too many of us need waist straps that can fit 56 inches, shoulder strap adjusting lines that hang down to mid thigh, or even a chest strap, for day tripping. Way too many dangling lines. I will be cutting them off or shortening them so I don't snag or trip over them! I am 6'0 tall and 185 lbs.
