Where's the flannel?!
I have 20-year old flannel sheets now used for dog bed covers that have better quality flannel than these pants! Vermont winter activities require warm pants. I have been a Bean customer for years, and this is the first time I've been disappointed in a product.

Inconsistent sizing
I normally wear a size 12 in LL Bean pants so I odered 2 different colors in size 12. One pair fit and the other pair didn’t. The waist on the second pair was 1.5 inches smaller! Although some variation is probably impossible to avoid, an inch and a half is not acceptable.

Great but the fit was small.
These are beautiful, soft, stylish, and well made. The fit was small compared to other LLBEAN pants that I have bought, so these (in my regular size) did not fit me. I returned them.

These cords are great. They do fit a bit tight so I ordered a size up hoping they might shrink a bit. The color is great, but I really wish they made them in black. This style is so much more comfortable than the other style women’s cords they offer. The fabric is more substantial than the other styles and they really hold up well.

These didn't work for me.
These pants were a great length, great fit in the legs (not wide and baggy like a lot of pants) and wonderful until I pulled them all the way up. I could button them but I certainly could not have sat comfortably with that tight and short waisted waistline. I believe these were designed for the hourglass figure that I had 40 years ago...I exchanged them for the pull-on corduroys which is not a style I care for, but I could at least sit in them comfortably, wide baggy legs and all. The 5 pocket cords were my normal size, a 10 and the pull-on version, medium.

Way too small
I first ordered a 10 which is what I wear in most pants. These were way too small, then I ordered a 12 and they too were too small. I have given up although I liked the pants, they were just what I was looking for.

Wide-leg style, not straight leg!
I bought a small regular, my usual size, which is
normally somewhat fitted on me, but mediums are too big. These pants are huge in a small. The leg opening is very wide, much wider than other llbean straight-leg pants. I am returning them.

I usually wear a size 8 but bought a 10 knowing that Bean pants run small but these are a little too tight in the waist and an inch shorter than they’re supposed to be. Yes, I measured them. Sending them back.

Well made, good fit when going up one size. For years I have worn the Casco Bay LL Bean Cords and wear a size 12 regular. Reviews said that this new style of cords runs small. So while it hurt my self esteem.... I ordered a size 14 and the fit is good. I will order another pair of these cords in another color. I expect them to last for years as all my LL Bean clothes do!

Great fit and colors
I love Bean’s BeanFlex pants. I first bought BeanFlex cargo pants last year and tried on the BeanFlex corduroys because I love the fit of BeanFlex. I have a curvy figure and some pants gap at the waist if I buy a size that fits my hips. BeanFlex pants sit just below the waist and never gap. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch to fit comfortably all day and never sag in the knees or the backside. I bought the green which are a lovely fall color. BeanFlex pants are my favorite!
