Awkward seam down the middle
The fabric is super luxurious and the fit fantastic, but there is a seam from the Henley placard down the middle of the front. That seam means you got to wear and undershirt and it's kinda awkward, way more noticeable i real life then the online photos.
I was pretty bummed: I love merino wool blend performance fabric and I love a good Henley, this just wasn't mean to be.

Weird
I liked everything about the shirt except the seam in the front. Returned.

Odd center seam
The material was very nice. However, I returned it because the seam in the front center was too odd looking.

Tall and terrific fit
Not everyone carries tall sizes, or nearly as many as L.L. Bean. Thank you, especially for also providing MT, and LT. Terrific fit!

Great shirt
Super soft and comfortable shirt. It breathes well and prevents odors.

Dissapointing
Too flimsy and the seam in the front is ugly. Requires an undershirt.

Swinging from the trees
Colors were different (slightly) fqroqm what I expected, but I really liked them. The problem with the product was the sleeves were 2 1/2 inches longer than a normal sleeve length. I could have scratched the side of my knees if my arms fit the sleeves.q

Too thin to matter
I expected a top quality Henley. This shirt has an awful looking seam down the center front of the shirt. It is too thin to wear except with a turtleneck under.

Quality long sleeve
This shirt is super soft, the fit is perfect and is high quality. My 20 year old college student is picky and likes this shirt.

More like base layer/underwear.
Very fine thin fabric. More like SmartWool base than a comfy wool shirt.

Not the fabric I expected
much thinner texture than I expected. Really can only be worn as an underlayer.

Waste of money.
Terrible seam and fabric choice. Like a patched undershirt

Base, not shirt
It’s not clear from the catalog pictures, but there’s a seam up the front! Never saw a Henley with that before. This is very light weight. It’s okay as a base layer but not as a shirt. Runs very large.

Odd looking seam on front?
There is a prominent seam running down the middle of the front of the shirt - not sure why, but it is very odd and unsightly. Other than that it would be a great shirt.

Nice
This is one of the best shirts to travel/hike or go out in. Its great for technical use because of the wool blend (quick drying and nice, insulating, yet breathable material). Wool doesn't retain smell, so you could wear it for a month straight without a wash, even though that wouldn't be recommended. It looks very cool, and is versatile for many occasions. Feels nice too, not too stiff or causal looking. Metal buttons a plus. Pricey, but well worth it. I can imagine that this shirt will last for 20 years or so. LL Bean quality is so high up there, that when you buy something new, its not because the old one wore out, its because you want a new color or look. Nice shirt!

Runs small. Feels like thin nylon.
Fit is more slender than my other XL shirts, as if fitted. The next larger probably would have fit. Thin and cold.
Merino is in the name but the product does not have the feel of merino wool. I should have more carefully read the fiber content.
