Great boots
I love these boots. They’re the perfect boot to throw on in mud season. I got them one size down and fit great with a heavy sock. Since I wear them mostly in winter and spring (aka “mud season”) I’ll mostly wear a heavy sock with them so that works for me. But I think if I wanted a thinner sock I’d recommend going down 1 1/2 sizes. But they’re easy on/off and have good traction, weather proof and look nice.

So cute but sizing tricky
I ordered a full size down but I feel like it rubs my pinky toe too much on my right foot--going to try the 7s when they restock (green!) and hope for the best!

Finally a shoe that really fits!
I have a very high instep and a wide foot and these went on smoothly. They are true to size for me so I’m glad I didn’t size up or down. I like that I can just slip them on and they go with everything. There’s even room for a sock.

Order one size down
Lovely boots! However, reviews advised to order one size down which I did and am glad for it. I have to wear thick socks to keep them from being sloppy. I’m one of those people whose left foot is larger than the right so will have to add insert to the right as it’s a bit sloppy.

Great comfortable boot
Great boot for wet weather or slush and snow. I wear a wool sock for greater warmth. Definitely order a size down as recommended. i started with normal size 9 and exchanged for size 8.

Plz LL BEAN Carry Size 5 in all shoes!
It’s frustrating that most of the footwear is not available in Women’s size 5. Children’s shoes are not constructed as adults and it’s disheartening that llbean who works so publicly to be inclusive can’t carry the full size range of a woman’s shoe! We loved llbean for years and we still do but…. This is frustrating!

I love the original Bean boots…but sometimes I don’t wear them because they aren’t so easy to “slip on”. These slip on so easy and look great! Love the coconut color too! I sized down a full size…then sided down another 1/2 size.

Love them!
I'm in love with LLB boots. I got my 1st pr over 25 long yr ago and still have them! They're now well broken in and I've gotten many pr since. Did I need these? No way! I wanted a pr of white low ones for spring! Love the white/cream color! These fit the bill. I norm order a size 10. I decided to go down to a 9 1/2 with these as I don't plan on wearing heavy sox w/these. (Reg shoe size is 11.) Size is perfect. As with most LLB, getting the right size is the key to having them fit right. My foot does not slip out of these. I love how I can slip them on and off in heartbeat to just go to get my mail. Or quickly run an errand or walk my dog even in winter. The top is plenty big to get my big huff in w/o it being so big that it looks hideous on me. I love the traction on LLB boots as they give me stability when I walk. I don't slip in them as I do my Sorels. I'm a 66 yr old woman w/balance issues and LLB boots keep me from slipping all over even in ice. My dec dad purchased LLB boots for yr. They always held up through thick and thin! I am now taking over his reign. When he passed his wish was to be buried in his LLB boots and he was! I hope to be like my dad...Live and Die in my great LLB boots! You won't be sorry to purchase these...easy on easy off. Low cut/great for Spring - Fall in the northeast. I love how they're still finely constructed in the Good Ole USA!!!

Great fit! I ordered my actual size and it was a good fit. I can slip these on and off with relative ease. I have noticed that when immersed in snow my feet are cold! Fortunately I use these for taking the dog for short walks so I do not think this will be an issue for me. Overall great purchase!

Best Bean Boots
Thank you for bringing these Chelsea boots back! I have had a well-used and well-loved pair for nearly 10 years. I wear them around the farm, hike in them, travel in them during winter months. They are so much easier to wear than the original laced version. Every woman who sees them wants a pair and they have been discontinued for years. So glad to be able to tell my friends they can now buy them… And now I can get another pair in one of the new lovely colors!

Easy in, Easy Out. Remember to SIZE DOWN!
I live on a farm and needed water proof slip-on boots that are quick and easy to get on and off. Makes me less likely to just keep them on and track dirt inside.
These are convenient and classic.
Believe the fine print when L.L. Bean says to size down. I mean one full size! I wear a 9 typically, and had to exchange for an 8, and even those are still about a half-size on the roomy side. Not sure why L.L. Bean doesn’t just change their numbering scale to be more standard. Anyway, great boots though!

Chelsea Boot Reviewed
The Chelsea is a great boot, the materials and craftsmanship is the best. The fit is a slightly different issue. The opening of the boot is too wide around the ankle making for a loose fit allowing the foot to piston (slide up and down) within the boot. I called to see if there was a way to order the boot with a smaller circumstance around the ankle.

Great boot; sizing advice isn't accurate
These boots are well made, good looking, and functional. I adhered to the advice to downsize a full size. Mistake. I typically wear a 9.5 in US women's sized shoes. My foot is not thick nor wide. Per the suggestion, I ordered size 8.5. Okay... it fits IF I wear no socks or very thin socks. Wish I'd ordered a 9 if not my normal size. In theory, I'd wear these in cold, wet weather. That means SOCKS.
The length is fine. The width is narrow. I have narrow feet and they are a bit snug. I would not want to wear thick or winter socks in this size. Wish I'd ordered my normal size.
