The perfect casual boot
The are great to slip on fast and get out the door. They are the perfect match for my casual style and I’m wearing them almost daily. I find them really comfortable. I usually wear a 9.5 to 10 and my pair is an 8. I can still wear a medium weight wool sock with them.

Good-looking, sturdy, slip-on boots
Great slip-on, sturdy boots. They run a little big -- I wear a 9 and bought these in 8 1/2 and they are still roomy enough for thick socks. Love the little stretchy panels on the side to make it easy to pull on. Great boots for a great price.

New 1/2 size option
Love the new option for 1/2 sizes which allows for a little more flexibility in ordering. I usually wear a 10 but initially ordered the boot in size 9 (prior to the introduction of 1/2 sizes) as reviews indicated the boot ran rather large. I found the 9 to be a bit tight but than I noticed the additional new 1/2 sizes were now available. Returned the 9, ordered the 9 1/2 and it fits perfectly wearing a lighter wool sock.
Oh, and the sage/black combo looks great.

No need to order size larger for thick socks.
These were a gift for my daughter. I ordered a size 7 allowing for thick socks, but apparently the sizing already accounts for that so they were a halfsize too large. She exchanged for size 6.5 and they fit perfectly. She loves them and how easy they are to slip on and off for everyday use when it's wet or snowy.

Lovely boot
Love the boot, the style, the color and craftmen ship of the boot is really nice. I tried 2 different sizes and they were both too big. I usually wear a size 8 and I tried 8 and 71/2 and it didn't work for me. The fit is the only reason I rated it 3 stars.

Boots are great!
Great boot. I walk dogs at a welfare league in FL in rain, sun, etc. My feet stay dry and they are ver comfortable. I ordered my regular shoe size because I wanted extra room since walking in extreme heat makes my feet swell. If your conditions aren’t that extreme I would def order 1/2 size smaller.

My favorite LL Bean boot so far!
Awesome! Just be sure to size down. I wear a 7 or 7.5 and only size 6 fit right. They will be my go to boot for the farm. Easy pull on. I expect to get years of use out of them.

My new favorite barn boots
Great slip on boot. Make sure you get the right LLBean boot size. I normally wear 8 1/2 but in bean boots i wear a 7. That gives me room for a light/ medium pair of socks. Waterproof, easy to get on and off. The only wish I have is that they had a toe bump above the heal so you could use it to slip them off. Totally not a deal breaker tho.

Absurdly Huge!
I ordered these before moving to our farm, in preparation for a Northern winter. I had them lying in wait for months, and when I finally put them on I discovered that they are crazy big. I had to wear them, of necessity and darn near killed myself, slipping on a rock because of it. This size ten woman could probably give them to her size 10 BROTHER!!!

Run big.
These truly do run larger than I predicted, so had to exchange for a 1 1/2 size smaller than my normal athletic shoe size. But Bean took care of me in a timely manner and I am happy with these classic boots. Easy to slip into without any difficulty or grunting, and the green color is very nice and vintage feeling, like a pair of boots that James Herriot might have worn while striding to farms across the damp Yorkshire

I walk my dogs a mile out in the river bottom grassland each morning and my feet remain dry against the morning dew and puddles. I no longer need to change out my socks each day.

Bought one size up
I bought one size up (9 vs 8) because I love to slip them off and on easily which I do repeatedly throughout the day. With or without socks. No rubbing, no irritation, comfy, go-to footgear for working outside, garden, livestock, etc. The toe area is more narrow than my previous pair (different brand) which is not a problem in 3 seasons. I will likely break out the old, dilapidated pair come winter as they have a wider toe-box and allow a big o'l sock and are lined. Lined is great for cold weather but these unlined boots are perfect for the rest of the year.

Great lots but for the size
I would love the boots except they are too big. My shoe size is 7.5. I ordered a size 7 asked on reports that they run large. Even with a thick sock they are too big. I should have returned them.

Great boot! Would buy again!
Love these boots. We have property that is clay and I needed a boot for the muck. I have a hard time with shoes right out of the box and these took minimal break in for me on just one foot. Very comfortable and easy to slip on. I highly recommend and would buy again.

Weatherproof!
I’ve been wearing these boots every day for the past month. I did have to order them 2 sizes smaller than my usual shoe size and they remain loose in the heal and slightly tight in the toe box BUT the rubber hasn’t cracked as other brands did and they’re weather proof which was my top priority. They are warm enough but I sometimes curtail my walk with the dog b/c my feet are cold but never b/c my feet are wet! Also, these boots are easy to slip into and out of AND they’re attractive. I would buy another pair if I ever need to.

Great boot, Second toe woes tho
I loved these but they were too small in a 9 and too big in a 10. I tried to accommodate with some different sock thicknesses to no avail. I have the long second toe issue so I encounter this issue from time to time. Nonetheless a 9&1/2 offering would be awesome. ;) Very cool color combo and great quality and structuring.

I wear a 9.5 in most shoes, so I ordered down and received a 9. The 9 is still huge. I'm returning and will try an 8 because there is so much room in the toe. Overall, looks like what I'm hoping for in this boot

Well made and cute
Really happy to have found these made in America boots. I am a reliable size 7, and sized down to a 6 and still found them to be a little large in the heel. Am experimenting with a cork insole to see if I can get a better fit but overall they are well made and comfortable and I would buy again.
