Disappointing
The leather of one boot was not in the same condition as the other boot. It was jnot worth the fight to get them on. the width was ok once they were on. As many said they need a zipper to get into.

Stiff Boots
Do not buy these boots. They are extremely difficult to get on, so stiff that one's ankles can not bend while wearing them, and even more difficult to off. For company that built its reputation on the quality of its outerwear, that reputation gets booted to the curb with these.

Returned them!!
Very nice boot but virtually unable to pull it on and take it off. It needs a zipper or a wider opening (my foot is quite narrow and still impossible to pull on)! Returned them.

Beautiful but needs a wide size option.
This boot is beautiful: coloring was gorgeous and it has smooth leather that you can just tell will stand the test of time. However, I very much need a wide size option. My feet hurt after walking about 10 feet in these. Maybe the leather would have accommodated my foot width eventually, but they are too expensive to rely on that. I returned them.

Easy on, flattering, good grip
I really like these pull-on’s, great for dog walking. I’m still breaking them I so a tad tight but I’m wearing thick wool socks cuz it’s cold outside.

Slightly small
I’m usually a true size 8, these boots fit slightly smaller than an 8. I will be returning them to order them a 1/2 size up!! Because otherwise they are a beautiful boot, sturdy and seem well made.

Lovely and well made
These are firm at first so take your time breaking them in but to me, that’s a well made boot! They are waterproof going out in the snow with my dogs or walking around outside in town shopping and visiting. They look great and I get a lot of compliments on this gray color with the white sole! I’m buying them in black next! I think they will last a long time! My expectations were met!

Size Down - Great Boot
Size down! I'm usually a 7 but exchanged for a 6 1/2 and they're still roomy in the boot shaft. Overall I'm so happy that I have these. They're high quality and I can tell these will last me for years, much like all LL Bean products. I'm still breaking them in so they are a little uncomfortable in the heel area but with thick socks these it's fine.

Great boot
I usually wear an 8 but size up to 8.5 in boots and sneakers. I ordered an 8.5 and it fit well. It was easy to get on and off with the pull tab. My feet are a bit wide but they still fit in these fine, although I’m hoping they stretch out a bit after wearing them in. I hope they last for years to come because they are a great outdoor boot when you want good tread but still want to look cute.

Clunky
I wanted to love these, but they are really clunky even for the style. Maybe they would look better on a taller person, but I am petite and they looked ridiculous. They are slightly roomy, but I would recommend going with your regular size - the opening is a tight fit, which it should be.

really difficult to put on
I tried for more than 5 min to get these shoes on -- finally did and they are definitely the right size but I didn't find the back tab or the elastic on the sides to be sufficient help. I've owned many boots over the years and have never had to struggle like this to put on a pair. I also found the top portion to be too stiff, heavy and uncomfortable when I tried walking around my home. They are really sturdy, however, and seem nicely made.

Very well made
Great for work or weekend w jeans. I wear 7.5 and sized up to 8 and fit perfectly. Other reviews say it was difficult to get boot on but I found the elastic stretches enough to allow my foot room and the back tab helps. It’s a boot not a shoe so will take a bit more work to put on. It’s worth it. Very well made, very comfortable and looks very good on. I’ve worn to work and looks nice with skirts dresses or pants. The color is very rich and soft. I would highly recommend it!

Style Meets Function! Ultimate Everyday Boots!
The title of this review is comprised of phrases from the product description. The product description is very accurate! I LOVE these boots. With the thickest LLBean socks, these boots work just fine for playing in the snow with my kids. With cotton rag LLBean socks, these boots are great for almost any circumstance.
The only downside is that the boots really are very difficult to get on and off. Not in the annoying "too many fasteners" or "too hard to lace up" sort of way, but rather in the "flapping around the kitchen trying to shake one's foot free from the boot while the rest of the family looks on in shock" sort of way. But I am willing to live with that. I just hope that the elastic portion of the boot lasts for the long haul, as elastic tends not to last forever.

Sturdy, safe and warm
I wanted boots that were sturdy with a low heal and wide surface area when walking. I was concerned that these boots would not look dressy enough, but I wore them today with a suit and though they did not look "dressy (narrow with a heel)" they were fine. I felt safe walking in snow. They were warm with a regular pair of socks.

Very narrow.
I bought women's size 7.5. The width says medium. I heard the boots are supposed to stretch a lot. I ordered Oct 20/23, so I have had them just under 3 months. I've been working them in for almost three months and they are still too tight at the front. I don't think they will stretch enough ever. I am still trying because of my circumstances. I don't think ordering an eight (8) would help. They are long and narrow. I think L.L. Bean should just write narrow width on their website. These are not medium width. I admit the rest of the boot has stretched, just not the toes.

Beautiful boots but Needs a zipper
I love the look, feel and style of these boots. However I think they need a zipper to make them easier to put on and take off. Because of that I ended up returning them.
