Quality decreased
This is the second bed I have ordered from LLbean. Sad to say the quality of the bed is not as good as the one I purchased about 6 years ago. It is lighter in weight. The fabric is slippery, so when the dog runs and hops on the bed it slides across the floor. I have not washed it yet, and have not had it long enough to say how it will hold up, but I am so tired of buying high dollar items to find that the quality you expect is no longer there.

Dog Bed
We like it, but our dog has high anxiety and the material made a "noise" when she got on it and so it took her awhile to get up the courage to lay on it. Then a week later when I washed the cover she became very nervous about approaching it. I finally took a fleece blanket and put over it and she has now accepted it.
I am sure she finds it comfortable.

This is a great dog bed. The size and s perfect for our dog. The fabric is very comfy as well as it looks to be very durable. It was a bit pricey but it is LLBean so the quality is great. Would recommend this.

The longest lasting dog bed ever
We have a dog that likes to paw at his beds. We went through bed a year until we found this one. We haven’t even had to replace the cover or pillow. The cover washes well. The pillow insert has remained fluffy. If you add up all the cheap beds you buy and replace, this bed is worth it

Not the same old quatlity
I have bought 3 LLBean dog beds in the past and was willing to pay for the high quality. The new polyester blend looks cheap, feels cheap and actually ATTRACTS dog hair. Won’t ever buy one again. Bad decision LLBean.

Insert is great. Canvas is not
This is a larger bed than anticipated. The small is too small. I had this exact same bed 10 years ago and I loved the quality and fabric of it so I ordered another. I should have listened to the other reviews. It is a different fabric than the previous one. I do not like this one as much with the texture. It does feel a little less quality.

Very disappointed…expected much better…
I ordered this dog bed online after not being able to find one in store. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. While the cover seems well made and like it will hold up, I can’t say the same for the bed insert which is extremely flat. My german shepherd looked like he was laying on the ground when he tried it out. The photos online make the bed seem like it has much more filling in it. For the price, I was expecting this bed to be able to last my dogs lifetime. Other beds I have purchased for a fraction of the price have been better quality. I really wanted to like this bed but I can’t justify the price for the low quality and will be returning it.

Lasts and you can get a new mattress insert
I bought an earlier version of this 10 years ago and it has lasted well. At the same time, I bought two beds from the other people (the O company). Their beds have not lasted well and they really do not offer replacement mattress inserts. So, I bought two more versions of this LL Bean bed. Again, just like the 10 year old version, well made, easy on and off of the cover from the mattress. Stick with LL Bean and their dog beds. You will not be sorry.

Does not compare to previous quality
Bought two dog beds and the quality disappoints. We had an LL Bean dog bed for five years previously, and the cover was attractive, real denim. The new one is a shiny, lighter weight, part synthetic material. Dog hair sticks to it and hard to get off. We ordered in two colors - the beige looks dirty all the time, the blue is a little better. Not what I expected from LL Bean.

The material is already piling/ripping. The dog bed I have has from a comparable company for the same price for the past 7 years is holding strong. This dog bed didn’t last a month.

Should've ordered a bigger one
I bought the small bed for our new golden puppy (he was 16 pounds) but it quickly became too small. Recommend getting at least a medium for a large-breed puppy.

Missing the old cotton cover
I bought this to replace a decade old LLBean dog bed whose cover was finally wearing thin. The insert looks identical. Unfortunately, instead of all cotton, the cover is now a blend of cotton and 43% polyester. It both feels slick and looks considerably less attractive than the old version which just got softer and more attractive with each washing. I'll probably look elsewhere when I need my next dog bed.

Not the same as before, read description carefully
I am disappointed to learn that these bed covers are no longer 100% cotton denim. I wish I had noticed before ordering. I have 2 of these beds bought previously that have been extremely durable, easily washed (zero issues w/ stains or orders), and do not “attract” fur even after years of use (and still in use). After a few days of use I am noticing a lot of fur sticking to the bed. Maybe it’s still a small step above a cheap pet store bed, but I will not buy again, nor recommend any longer. Also, I have large, long-haired dogs and they will likely find the bed too warm due to the significant polyester content. I would have gladly paid more money for the previous quality vs a cheaper product in quality and price. Can’t say yet how the cover will fare after repeated washing.

Favorite bed!
My dogs adore this bed over any other! I have 3 of these beds for my 3 dogs. We've tried other styles but all loose their shape quickly-- this one lasts and lasts.

BEST dog bed ever. Worth every penny. Dog hair does not get embedded in the denim and I can vacuum it when needed. Cover is machine washable. 2nd one purchased in 15 years. Glad this one could have the personalization, that wasn’t offered 15 years ago on the first one.

Nothing like a Bean dog bed!
Large is generously sized, wide enough for big lab and human to stretch out together. Pretty shade of blue and high quality fabric—tight weave, soft, no pilling, and cool touch. Create bolster by flipping up edge against furniture or wall. Best of both bed styles!

Great Product
Ruby loves her new bed. Shes a medium sized goldendoodle and its the perfect size for her. Its a firm but comfortable mat. She uses it day and night.We also had it momogrammed in block letters and they did a beautiful job

Poor quality with a high price
Like the cover and the size of the bed. Could have used more filling because when my dog sits on it she was sitting on the ground. I put in an old egg crate I had for more comfort, but for the price I shouldn't have to. I also tried the orthopedic dog bed and it was so hard she wouldn't lay on it so returned that, but was not told about the 6.50 charge for the label.
