NOT ALL-COTTON, although advertised as such.
I'm wearing the jeans, but I'm extremely disappointed in LL Bean's capitulation to the current thinking that everything must have STRETCH. The jeans were advertised as "all-cotton," which I had specified. When they arrived, I noticed that they are cotton and the hated stretch material. I DID NOT want the stretch because they pants become baggy as soon as I sit and move around. I WANTED ALL-COTTON! Is that too much to ask????!!!

Looked frumpy on me
Although I prefer classic waist jeans, the waist on these jeans came way above my navel. The hips fit well but with the baggier legs, the overall look on me was frumpy and not at all like the website model. It seems like I am returning more pants from LL Bean these last couple years than I am keeping.

These are ULTRA high waisted, actually touching my ribcage. As they settle towards your natural waist, the crotch drops. Plus the side seam is crooked from the pocket upward. The back of the pant can be seen from the front.

Pant lengths were different!
I love LL Bean clothes and I buy a lot, but these pants came with 2 different pant lengths. One leg was a half an inch longer than the other and it is so noticeable that I can’t wear them. I’m so disappointed.

I can't say enough good things about these jeans. The fabric is sturdy and wears well. It's flexible and stretches to the shape of your body as you wear the jeans. The color is rich. The sizing is true to size. And they wash well and reshape afterwards.

Disappointed!
Unlike most (99%) of my purchases from LL Bean that I am extremely happy with, I was not happy with these jeans. They just didn't fit right overall (AND I didn't really consider them to be 'straight leg') and I didn't think the quality was any better than jeans that I have bought elsewhere that were a lot less expensive.
With that said, because I live in Maine, I will pay a visit to their flagship store to see if there is something that 'works' for me. I ordered these jeans on line because I can't imagine that they have all the styles they offer in my size (6P) at their store.
Oh well. :(

Way too tight in the waist while way too big in the leg. Fine I'd you're small waisted but I got a size 12 and there's no way the size was correct.

Great fit, poor quality
I have been searching for a pair of jeans the are high waisted and long enough for my height. I do like the fit of them and I thought I found a good brand to purchase. But now that I've worn and washed them several times I'm not happy with the quality at all. The inside seam on the right leg now is twisted so it is not on the inside anymore, it is toward the front. I just had one of the pocket rivots come off when I put my hand in the pocket.

I think the size had to be marked wrong. Size 12 is always just a tad larger on me which I prefer. This size 12 was more like an 8. Bummer because I don’t know what size to reorder.

The exact same size as other pants I’ve purchased from LL Bean and were too tight. They aren’t terribly wrong, but I will need to lose a couple of pounds for them to be comfortable. They are, however, very good looking.
