I don't like the fabric, and the jeans are too baggy. I will wear them anyway (since I paid almost $90 to obtain them), but it was a purchasing mistake. They are probably fine jeans for other people.

Finally, Jeans That Fit Me!
I love these jeans! They stay at my waist comfortably. They fit in the hips and thighs without a lot of extra fabric. There is some stretch, but the denim looks and feels like denim.

Like these jeans...but
I am a size 6 now, but these are too tight in the waist. Same with the classic sure fit jeans...too tight in waist. I was wearing the size 4 sure fit classic fit: high waist, straight leg and they were perfect. That was 4 pounds ago. So apparently, a lot of that 4 pounds settled around my stomach. I cannot wear the size 6 in this 207 style because the waist is so tight. If I get the size 8 they are going to be too big, especially around my hips and butt.
I do love the style, though, because they would be so comfortable if they fit me. I am fed up with "skinny" jeans. Hate the tight legs. It is hard to find high waist with a straight leg,
so wanted to give these a try. Also, they are nicely made from nice fabric. If you have more "normal" proportions than I do, you might love these.

Go back to the original fit
I have been wearing Bean jeans for the last couple of years, they are m go to. Since then I have ordered lots of different pairs. The true shape jeans are inconsistent in sizing and look like riding jodhpurs. I don't need extra room in the thighs and they look stupid. If something isn't broken, don't try to fix it.!! I'm done!!

Small Waist!
I love that I don't have to wear a belt with these. They actually get smaller in the waist. I love that they have a similar look to vintage 100% cotton denim, but they are stretchy so they are actually comfortable. I typically wear size 4-6 in pants and jeans and the size 4 M/T (I'm 5'7) fit me best with these jeans. The size 6 wasn't even that much bigger, but I wanted them real tight so I went 4.

Wanted to Love But Bottom Leg Width Too Wide
I have several styles of LL Bean Jeans in the straight leg. These Vintage jeans with "straight leg" are 2" wider!! Love the denim quality. I was very disappointed that these are not the same in the bottom leg width. Not a boot cut but almost. Please adjust. These are the closest to the original classic denim jeans.

Very Comfortable Jeans
LL Bean sizing, for me, runs small; for example, if I wear a 14-16 in other brands, I will definitely be wearing an 18 or larger in LL Bean. Knowing this, I always check the size charts before ordering. I ordered the exact right size for me. Though, being a larger size, the straight leg is not as narrow as I expected or wanted. There is also extra room (a bulge/slight little "handles" in the fabric) around the hips that is not needed.

Finally Perfect Fit Jeans
I LOVE THESE JEANS. They are actually very much like jeans of the past, not stretchy at all but fit well through the hip and thighs. And the high waist is a great change from mid waist jeans because they do not slip down and bag in the butt. I am 5'7" and ordered a size 8 tall. The fit is perfect.

Love these jeans but they smell funky!
I haven't found jeans that fit me this well in years. I also have the boyfriend jeans and they fit well too. But, I knocked the rating down two points because both pairs smell so bad! They smell very strongly of mildew and the smell doesn't go away after washing. So disappointing.

Finally Jeans That Fit!
Finally you have gone back to old school jeans that don"t stretch all over the place. The jean material almost mimics jeans of the past that were durable, substantial weight and came to the waist. no more donut waists here. I'm 5"7', 135 lbs and ordered a size 8, medium long. They fit perfectly.

Ya!!! Found a good one
I wear between an 18 or 18plus. I chose to go with the bigger size 18plus which is just a little bit big but OK I’m excited about these jeans. I’m going to go ahead and order a regular 18. Hoping that they’ll be the perfect fit. It’s hard for me to find good fitting jeans I don’t like them tight, but I don’t like them baggy and I only like high waisted !!!

Favorite Fitting Jeans
I know these aren’t what LL Bean calls their favorite fit, but they are MY favorite fit! They are for you if your hips are on the smaller side. I buy size 4, and they are perfect! I am 5'3” tall, weigh 112 lbs.

Well constructed of heavy quality fabric fits me well. Minus a star due to musty odor which I hope will be fixed with several washings.

Why the change?
Bean jeans are well made, but I cannot seem to get an answer as to why after years of the same jean, the 8's are too large in hip and stomach area. I have always ordered classic jeans. Tried a 6 and too small.

Nice jeans but hips were too big
I liked the feel of these jeans but they almost looked like jodhpurs on me. I usually wear size 10 med tall in Bean jeans which I ordered but theses jeans didn’t fit my small hips. I have pretty much a straight figure 5’8 135 lbs. these are cut for someone with larger hips than I have. I was disappointed because I really liked the looks of these jeans. The waist and length were perfect. They are very nice jeans.

Good quality, not quite the right fit
These jeans basically fit, size was perfect. Quality seemed excellent. On the model they looked like they were for slender people but they were baggy through my hips and thighs. Perfect in waist and upper hips but I just could not fill the bottom hips out. Would be great for someone with more curves. I also tried true shape from llbean, but they were even curvier.
