Front is short
I love the fabric but the front is way too short for my husband. The front and the back are not the same length. The picture shows that they are both the same length.

LL Bean Slightly Fitted does it again!
Looks even better than in the photos. The "the slightly fitted" cut is, as usual, a perfect fit for me.

1912 Flannel Shirt 2023
Bought an earlier version of this shirt. Really love it and wear it a lot. Not sure why yall ever changed it. What I like (and probably most men): substantial weight and thickness; it's unlined (I can add a layer myself and unlined I can wear it when it's just cool out; pockets (more is better, it has side-seam pockets, but hand warmer or side seam, pockets are good); it doesn't have button down collars. A couple of pointers: men want to be able to come back and buy the same thing that works when they wear something out and need another one, don't keep changing it like some moving target; one button on the breast pockets, not two; hoods are ok; zipper fronts are ok; inside breast pockets are great; locker loops are great; lots of variety in colors and patterns are great but have plenty of manly earth tones; NO BUTTON DOWN COLLARS ON A CASUAL/SPORTING FLANNEL or CHAMOIS SHIRT.
That said, I really like the 1912 Flannel shirt I bought last year. Good job, please bring it back.

Love this flannel!
Big fan of this flannel. Super soft and comfortable. Runs a little small compared to others in the LLBean catalog. I usually go with the Large, slightly fitted, but I needed the XL in this style. Looking forward to a sale so I can replenish the ranks.

Quality down
Nice colors, Collar should have been taller a bit. Overall quality of LLBEAN has come down while prices keep climbing. Other brands that have very good quality are Carhart and better value. I'm buying less Of Bean each year.

Comfortable Good Looking Shirt
A very comfortable, well made, mid weight flannel. It is the perfect length to go untucked. I like the feel and the look of this shirt. This is the second of this style I’ve purchased and they are both favorites.

Nice flannel shirt
Nice flannel shirt Classic color pattern This shirt runs a little small It’s described as mid weight I would say it’s about the same weight as a classic flannel shirt which is a little heavier than you find in your basic flannel shirt

1912 Field Flannel Shirt mens.
Excellent well made shirt.Has a warm and cozy feel to it.
Just perfect for the cold winter weather that we are getting now.Shovelled snow in it and then went shopping wearing it. The untucked length is another fine feature.

Good quality fabric and workmanship
This is the third flannel shirt that I have bought from LL Bean. The shirts are good quality fabric and workmanship. They wash and hold up well. I highly recommend the LL Bean plaid flannel shirts.

First time shopper without the wife!
He loved it. From a man who is so hard to buy for, he picked it out himself and tells me over and over again how great it feels. In his words, “it looks better on me than on the hanger in the store”

Size up and it's not so "slightly fitted."
My husband LOVES this shirt. It's a thicker, softer flannel, very cozy, and the blue plaid looks awesome on him. He wears it alone, under sweaters, and over tees, depending on the weather and what he's planning to do that day. We were both skeptical about it being "slightly fitted," because he has a beer belly. But when he tried it on at the store, in one size larger than his usual LLBean size, it fit like it was custom-made! Well worth the extra $$ for the premium fabric, stylish appearance, and versatility it adds to his casual wardrobe.

Awesome Shirt
Great shirt, I’m 5’5” 180 lbs and the small fits perfectly with the untucked length and sleeve length! Just right, and I’ve washed it already on machine wash cold (as directed on tag) and on a low delicates dryer settings, no or minimal shrinkage!

Sizing is inconsistant
Large tall is supposed to fit a 42-44 chest. It's tighter than that so I'll be returning. Large tall fits me perfectly in the chamois shirts and long-sleeve tees. Arrrrrg.

Very disappointing
As a lifelong Mainer, I’ve shopped at and worn LL Bean apparel for most of my life and this is the first time I’ve been this disappointed.
I’ve had this flannel for less than a month and it’s coming apart at the seems on both arms, and for the first time, I would not recommend this. It really feels like the quality LL Bean provides these days has gone way down.
