He likes it!
This is a nice jacket. It’s perfect for layering on any cold weather day. But, this jacket has just insulation all on its own for our California winter. I personally love the high visibility color for when he is outside playing in the street with neighborhood friends.

Warm and water shedding
Purchased for a 10 year old who wears 14 husky pants. The sleeves are long and the length are like a parka because I ordered a larger size. We love the lines hood with Velcro to size so he can see, the color and how it layers with a fleece.

Not durable.
This coat is comfortable and warm, but not durable at all. The fabric ripped a very large hole on the sleeve when a branch caught it on a walk. No thorns, just a branch. This would be an excellent jacket if you're in a city or you don't intend for it to be worn while playing in nature. We needed something for an outdoor school and this clearly isn't the jacket for that. Pretty disappointing considering the price.
