Great shorts, but ...
The only thing keeping me from giving that fifth star is the absence of a zipper.
Beyond thar, style, fit, looks, and comfort are stellar.
The pair of belted Supplex shorts that these replaced had a zipper in front. Please bring it back.

Where is the front zipper?
These being my 3rd pair of swim trunks, all the same, from LL, and what to my surprise; no front zipper. Ahhhhh, no good and will never wear them. The previous 2 pair were fantastic, go swimming, go to the store, heck go anywhere as they looked great just like a good pair of shorts.

What happened to the Swift River Shorts?
I have bought about 6 pairs of the Swift River shorts and loved them, can't find them now and these are the closest thing you have to them. They don't have a front zipper, or the side zipper pocket (which is key for your cell phone). These are just not half as good, why would you stop making a great product like the Swift River shorts. The color selection is really poor also (only 4 to choose from?).

Poor quality Swim Suit
The Color faded instantly, I swim daily, the fabric is separating from the elastic waist band. I have been sewing it up as it comes apart. I expect more than this from LLBean.

A Little Disappointed.......

Swimming and workout shorts
I have been wearing another Bean all purpose short for a number of years! These are awesome! They are my new lap swim, dog walk, and trips to the gym shorts for sure. Yes, I would recommend to a friend and I will certainly acquire more shorts in the near future!

Awesome Swim Trunks
Got these for my husband. He loves the material- thick and not see through. The built in belt adjusts well and stays put. He likes the belt better than a typical drawstring. They run a little big which is nice- provide space to move around and not cling to the body.
