This is a definite BUY ME!
I love this dress. Purchased in the Olive Green, it's a perfect "throw on and I'm ready" outfit". Flattering fit whether belted (with my souvenir braided belt bought in Yellowstone) or non-belted. Fabric is good weight for upcoming Fall days.

Nice Dress, but Sleeves Way Too Long
The fabric is very nice, has a rip-stop appearance. My only complaint is that, once again, the sleeves are at least four inches too long. I prefer to have the cuffs down and buttoned rather than rolled up. I wear a 2X and I want to repeat that even if you gain weight, your arms do not grow longer. At the prices that are charged, perhaps Women's Petite sizes could be offered.

Chemical Odor Impossible to Remove
I bought a couple of sizes, and all smelled like chemicals. I kept the XS as I really loved the dress. MANY washing, MANY days hanigng outside and I couldn't get the odor out. Sad as the dress was great fit.

Disappointing dress
I first bought this in a L. It seemed a little on the big side so I ordered a M. The buttons gapped at the chest in the M so I kept the large. First, for a "signature" line dress I was disappointed that the dress had no belt loops and that the belt is soft and flimsy. The belt folds over and makes the dress gather funny at the waist. Second, the fabric stretches so after a few hours of wearing then dress it was a wrinkled crumpled baggy mess. I returned it. Having belt loops and a better belt would have helped the dress.

Chic shirt dress, casual or dressed up.
Loving the bird and plaid patterns purchased last year, the Vintage pattern got my attention and that Chambray, will join my wardrobe soon, too. The fit, look, and wear are great!
I play with the dresses’ looks a great deal, usually accessorizing with different belts and loving how this shirt dress works with both casual sandals or kicks on a relaxed day, as well as with a cute wedge for an afternoon luncheon.
On a cooler days, I have paired the new Vintage pattern with boots and a blazer and have layered the dress open over a tee and skinny jeans, with a vest, for an edgier, nighttime Coastal style night out
I have both the Small Regular and the Medium Petite and wear the sizes interchangeably, preferring the look of the Vintage pattern in the Small; i have snipped the belt loops off all of mine. I prefer to place the belt myself, but do use the self belts frequently.
On warmer days I roll the sleeves up above my elbow, the existing camp tab places the sleeve fold mid forearm. Fully down, the sleeve is full length.
I machine wash on cool, take it out immediately and line dry. Haven’t had to iron and the sizing stayed perfectly!

Awesome spring/summer dress!
Delighted to see the chambray in the latest catalog and in stock so I quickly ordered! I have the plaid and the navy birdie ones from previous seasons (maybe last year?). They are lightweight and so cute and versatile, to dress up or down. I'm 5'1"--2" ish, 135, and a PM is a great fit. Could be a tad shorter but I have that problem with everything. So happy to add the chambray to my Bean collection!

Love this dress!
I bought the olive green dress and I am so pleased with how attractive and comfortable this dress fits. I am 5’5” and weigh 125 lbs and bought a medium size. The fit is classic and looks great paired with sandals or boots. The belt is attractive but can also be styled with other belts instead. This is a very versatile dress and can be worn to the office or to more casual locations. I just wish it came in other colors (like khaki or white).

So cute, runs large
In case you're not already familiar with L.L. Bean sizing, size down. I ordered a small and just by looking at it I thought it was going to be unflatteringly large, but the belt makes it work! I still wish it were less roomy, but I'm too in love with the scenic print to give it up. As someone with long limbs, I appreciate that the sleeves are long enough for me : )

Plus size friendly
Olive color looks and feels soft, has a great fit. Height 5’4 weight 233pounds bought a 2xl and it fits perfect, doesn’t hang too lose or too tight. Not too snug in the arms, perfect fit. Normally I wear a size 18/20 shirt and size 14 LB jeans.

Super cute springtime dress
I actually bought this dress in the store last fall. I only got to wear it a couple time before the weather decided it was winter, but I’m really looking forward to wearing it the springy warmer weather that the upper midwest seems to have settled on this week. At any rate it’s super cute, and fits well. It hits just above the knees. Very flattering fit. It launders well too, though I did have to iron the belt. It looks cute with a cotton cardigan!

Cute dress but problem with sizing.
I was looking for a light denim looking dress for every day. I started off with Small, which I should of stayed with but it was a bit tight in the bust. It fit my figure perfectly otherwise. (I"m 5'2" and 125 lbs.) I liked the style and fabric and it hit just at my knees. I returned and got a medium which was way too large. I then realized it came in a med. petite. It too didn't fit right. The belt would of had to be iron with each wear, and it was too long. So sadly I returned them all.

Good quality dress. Unfortunately, the fit didn't quite work for me--I'm 5'0, 115 lbs and ordered the petite XS. The sleeves were too long and the dress looked a bit bulky on me, just a bit too much fabric overall. Would be really nice on someone a bit taller.
