I purchased it for everyday use and picked a color which was on sale. Its vivid mustard shade, fabric (rip stop with a little spandex) is great. I wear it for doing errands as well as outings. It is a great item. Highly recommended.

did not like fabric
The fabric was very stiff even after washing twice. Comes out of the dryer very wrinkled and must be ironed to look halfway decent. Does not have any stretch. I do not recommend this item

I bought a Petite EXTRA small and I swear they are ENORMOUS. I am not super small -- size 4 or 6 in jeans and I can't even pull the waist tight enough to stay up. They look like clown pants.

Great pant for comfort and style
I am all about comfort, but not at the expense of looking put together and stylish. These pants are quite comfortable and truly styled to be timeless. You can pair them with a cotton t-shirt and a pair of your favorite Birkenstocks or dress them up with linen top and a pair of pretty flats or sandals. The elastic waist with a draw string tie adds to their charm, plus lets you adjust the snugness. The fabric is a great three season weight so I believe I will get lots of chances to enjoy them throughout the year. This may just be my new uniform!

Nice, but not perfect
I bought these for an upcoming winter trip to Florida after I purchased the full length slim leg version and loving the fit and style. Here's what I think.
* They run large for my body type, so I sized down. For reference, I am 5'5", 140 lb. I have a very straight build - thick through the waist and slimmer through the hips/butt. The size small fits perfectly. I knew this because I needed to size down in the full length version. Regardless, I really like the fit and style. Though they are wide leg, they don't look like clown pants.
* The fabric is great - almost. It's a good weight. However, if you are looking for pants that are great for travel - ie, packable and wrinkle resistant, these aren't for you. As advised on the label, I washed them before wearing on a cool/delicate cycle. I dried them on the "extra low" setting on my dryer and removed and hung them immediately. They were fairly wrinkled. Fortunately, I will be traveling in an RV and will carry wrinkle-release spray, which helps.
* I love the blue color. It's a good neutral and will go with a lot.
So, if you are looking for some lightweight, comfy pants that don't look frumpy, these are great. If you don't mind ironing, you'll love them. If you can live with them not looking perfectly pressed, a quick spritz with wrinkle spray will do the trick. After my trip, I'll decide if I want to grab another pair in olive.

Tough, lightweight pants
I have been looking for comfortable cotton, tough pants for gardening that are lightweight enough to wear in Houston and won't snag on rose thorns and branches. (I still have a 30-year-old pair of LLBean pants in a hard-finish lightweight cotton that are perfect for gardening, but they haven't been offered for years.) These fit the bill, except that they were ankle pants, and I wanted long ones. I decided to order my normal size, XS, but to get the med/tall length, and they turned out to be just right for my 5'2" height. As another reviewer mentioned, they do wrinkle badly (the reason for the 4 stars) and require a warm ironing.

Ordered medium and they were extremely huge. They were returned. Somewhere along the line, your pants haven't been the same. Poor quality and your don't carry pants to accommodate short women and that truly is sad.

Great pants!
I love these pants! So comfortable and the Rangely Blue color is just what I've been looking for. I can wear them almost year-round here in GA. They will be perfect for our mild fall weather! The fabric is very nice and they wash well - just a light touch up ironing needed. I am very happy with my purchase.

Way too baggy in the waist
I really wanted to like these crop pants, they looked good when I first put them on and were quite comfortable. However, it quickly became apparent that the waist band does not work. I ordered a petite 6 which is my usual size, sometimes even a bit tight in petite but these keep sliding down. It doesn’t matter how tight I tie the waist band, there is obviously an issue with the elastic waist.
