Out of the Park Again, L.L. Bean!
Now this is an insulated camp mug! The size is right, the feel is good, lots of handle room for two fingers or four. And this mug keeps hot coffee HOT for a long, long, long time. Lid Doesn't Clean Well
Bought two go these about a month ago and find out that the slider cannot be removed for washing or cleaning. This creates a haven for bacteria growth from previous uses especially if used with milk or other dairy products. Can cause health issues if not cleaned properly and I am not sure it can be cleaned properly without removing the slider.

Lid hole too small
Love the cup & size but hate the lid. As the sipping hole is too small, you have to tip the cup all the way up forcing the liquid to run out & down your neck.

Large capacity, keeps liquid hot
I bought this in solid black and in buffalo check.
They are awesome! It keeps the coffee hot, but the outside of the cup is cool. They have a large capacity, so a lot of room to make a latte.
Not sure why they aren't dishwasher safe, but they are easy enough to hand wash.

My favorite mug
A versatile mug for keeping liquids hot or cold. The lid helps to retain either preference. I like that hot coffee retains itself for an hour and that the taste remains fresh. There is no transfer of heat onto the handle, by design, accommodates a full grip from a large hand.

Perfect lovely red plaid mug
I love the plaid design. I especially love the mug for keeping my milk cold and my nighttime bedside water cold all night long. I prefer to drink without the lid as the edge is so smooth. I save the lid in case I going somewhere and don’t want to spill. Hot coffee also stays hot.

Unexpectedly disappointed
I've been an LLB customer for decades, with no problems with functionality of any item, and so when I bought several of these mugs for myself and as holiday gifts, I wasn't expecting to find they just didn't work. Liquid dribbles out of the spout on the lid and it's quite uncomfortable to drink from. I was excited to find a fun mug with a simple top and overall design, instead of mugs with complicated designs from so many other brands. So I have returned these mugs and will now have to inform my giftees in other states about the problem, which is embarrassing. LLBean, what happened?
