Beautiful jacket.. maybe lacking quality control..
Love the jacket beautiful... Also great price for what is offer in comparison to others brands. However my draw string pulled out from the jack with very light use owning it for a month...

Perfect Jacket
Bought the GORE-TEX Pro Patroller Jacket primarily to wear for skiing. Plenty of pockets to carry items like cell phone, car keys, wallet, ski pass etc. Hood is sized to fit over a helmet. The jacket being made with Gore-Tex waterproofing keeps you dry on wet snowy days.

Great ski jacket
good zippers, nice fit. Inner pocket is a little small if you have a giant phone. Hood big enough to fit over helmet to keep you warm when the wind is blowing on the lift. Seemed very breathable for what it’s worth. Fit guide said Large and the Large fits well.

Gore-Tex Pro Patroller Jacket
For the most part I love the jacket. There are just a few things that keep it from being perfect to me. For one thing, I think the hand pockets and the collar should be fleece lined for additional comfort. Also, I would like the dump pocket to be a little larger.

Perfection
Perfection. I don’t care what anyone says. I tried so many others and this is the clear winner. Multi sport. Totally waterproof. Breathable. Bomber. 6’4”, 225 and jacked. XL Tall fits perfect. Thank you for extended sizes!!!

Searched High and Low
I looked on various websites for a ski jacket and even though this LLBEAN jacket is more expensive than some of the other brands, after I received it, I can see that it is totally worth the extra cost. The quality is top notch and there was a lot of thought that went into the design. I am 5 11’ and 160 pounds. Initially I had gotten the Regular Large size but I’m a skinny dude and it looked a bit big on me. I exchanged it for the Tall Medium size and it’s a better fit for me. I’m not so tall but I have long arms and the Tall size compensates for my proportions. Note this jacket doesn’t have insulation so you’ll need to wear layers underneath. Can’t wait to hit the slopes now!

Excellent waterproof parka
The LL Bean Gore Tex Patroller Jacket out of the box is clearly the nicest ski parka I’ve owned. I’ve had other popular brand jackets at varying performance levels, and I can tell right away that the LL Bean jacket is a bit heavier duty out of the box. I expect the 3-layer Gore Tex Pro system to add a long lasting level of waterproof over some of the other waterproof tech fabrics I’ve tried in recent years. I expect many years out of a waterproof parka, & use for skiing, sailing, backpacking & work in the lumber industry. LL Bean products typically have lasted me a long time & after several years of extensive shopping this is the highest quality jacket I could find …and for a relatively reasonable price. I will be putting it to the test & will review again later. I liked it so much new that I wanted to go ahead and review. Pockets are well placed with appropriate space; zippers heavier duty than others I’ve had. Jacket fits a bit larger than other XL’s I’ve had, so room for some layers - don’t upsize! (a true size). Hood is ample/ perfect for helmet with fair range of adjustment - could maybe stand to pull back a little further when not using a helmet. I like the black / blue zipper accent color combo - don’t love the red printed logo on the sleeve but expect I’ll get used to the style given that everything else is about perfect. Thought it was made in USA, but actually from Indonesia these days - that’s OK -still a well built LL Bean jacket!

I have the previous version of this jacket and it has been my favorite shell I’ve ever owned. It’s still kicking but I picked up the updated version. Didn’t think it could get much better, but it did. Ski pass pocket is great as well as the removable powder skirt. It’s the perfect ski shell or jacket for any wet weather. Fit is perfect as well. Enough room for layering without looking too baggy. 5 foot 9 185 and the large is perfect
