Comfort and style!
This shirt looks great layered or by itself. The material is okay, but I really like the styling of different materials on the arms and inside the placket. Waffle is nice and stretchy giving plenty of movement freedom while draping nicely.

I like the shirt and would have rated a 5 if it had been a color of blue as advertised. The shirt is not blue. It is green and nothing blue goes with it!

Like the styling
Love the shirt, well made and should last a long time. Snaps are a plus. Only reason I did not give a 5 star review was that I thought the sleeves were too long. Have bought a number of LL Bean shirts and this was the only one with this particular issus.

I really liked this shirt, I like the waffle pattern, it was good quality. it just fit too loose for me to keep it. One other thing I'd change is having 2 options for the cuff to snap rather than one. the cuffs were too loose.

Store refused coupons so I paid more online
I found this at my local store but they wouldn’t take both coupons I had. Said online Bean has different computer system than Bean stores if you can believe that. Bean on phone (product not listed online) said they’d take both coupons and they had blue available. Turns out the blue happens to be gray, which is the same one available in the local store. So basically I bought the shirt online and had to pay shipping for a shirt that was same color and size as one minutes away from me but I had to pay more. And the color I ordered turned out to be more gray than blue, despite what the tag says. Otherwise a nice shirt.

More snap closures
Husband loves the shirts. Purchased regular first time,they are too short and after washing them as per instructions, they shrank. They were donated. Purchased another one in tall, very baggy, looking untidy. Please make more shirts with snaps, arthritic fingers can deal with them so much better. Also, glad to see more shirts in Solid color, tired of PLAID, as is my husband.

Very nice, but not my favorite
This overshirt runs a little large on size, but it is after all an "overshirt". I wish that the fabric had a little more body. The pocket droops when a cellphone is put in it. On the plus side, it is well made. It has the pockets that I need. The snaps are not buttons, which some might see as a negative. However, snaps are very easy to fasten and unfasten to keep a comfortable body temperature between activity and rest. The elbows are reinforced with a smooth fabric to reduce wear. The design generously covers points of friction when the arm is both straight and bent -- something that none of my other shirts have. Overall, I really like this shirt, but the oversizing and pliant fabric make the fit a little sloppy.

Runs big
Whatever size you think you should order for this normally go down one size. I’m 6’4” 200lbs and ordered a large initially. It was way to big. Went down to a medium and it is much better sized for my frame.
