I love them
It takes 4 or 5 good hunts to break them in but after they’re broken in they’re fantastic. I hunted with them in the snow for hours and my feet were dry as they were when I left to go.

Top Notch hunting boots
These boots by far are the best boots that I've ever purchased from LLBeans. They took no time to break in. Just got back from a whitetail hunting trip up on the Maine Canadian border, These boots did not let me down hiking up on mountain tops, River crossings, and snow uo to 16"deep,feet stayed dry and warm . I highly recommend these boots.

Perfect hunting boot for wet conditions
After 5 full days of hunting the bogs, marshes, wet fields, and flooded trails of Anticosti Island in late October, I can definitely say these are perfect for late fall hunting in wet conditions. I averaged 5-6 miles of stalking each day. These kept me warm but not too warm and always dry. I did break them in over 2 weeks at home and in the yard mowing the grass. And also treated them with the boot treatment sold at Beans. They did stretch a little and required adjustment to the lacing. Paired with medium weight merino wools socks, these boots were worth the investment. When I returned home they cleaned up nicely and are ready for another hunt.

Maine Warden Boots
So far they are waterproof after 4 outings in wet weather. Boots are co.mfortable and broke in quickly. Sizing was right for me. Only drawback is the laces were not long enough, so I made my own out of parachute cord.

Ready for adventure
The Warden line has products that live up to the reputation. I have the jacket and pants and they are the best for rain and inclement weather. The boots are no different. Built as tough as they come, these are very comfortable too. I love the Bean insert. I am looking forward to breaking these in and seeing how they form to my feet. The leather is the highest quality you can buy. Also designed to go through tough terrain, while not looking too much like huge boots. Would be great if they had Bean boot laces. Overall great, but size up. Runs smaller.

Best Boots
This is a great pair of boots. They fit true-to-size. The boots are comfortable and are water-proof. They lace all the way up and are very snug on the calf. If you are serious about serious footwear for hikes, rambles, walks, these are the boots for you.

Good Quality
I was impressed with the quality and workmanship of the boot. I returned the boot because it was too narrow and there is no alternative wide size.

Decent Boots
Boots fit good and are pretty comfortable. Definitely not built as rugged as I had hoped. The leather is very soft and the sole is very flexible. When side hilling on the mountain I found my feet getting sore because the boots flex so much. Boots are still nice just maybe for more of an upland use

Maine boots
I need a wider width. They were to narrow so I returned them. My friend has a pair and likes them a lot.

Great Set of Boots
Just used on a hunt in Anticosti Island and they were great. Very comfortable and I walked several miles during the hunt. Very comfortable size 13 and the laces never came undone which I cannot say with other boots that I have used hunting.

Outstanding, but...
These boots are very comfortable. I work in a meat locker and need heavy duty ankle support. These boots are waterproof and my feet stay warm and dry. Unfortunately they are NOT the most slip resistant I have ever had. If floors are wet-fine. If floors are greasy with meat fat-fine. If wet and greasy-Not good at all. That is only problem with Vibram sole but biggie.

These boots exceeded my expectations
I have arthritis in my feet & toes, and I've long said "no shoes will be good for me". I purchased these boots almost a week ago and have worn them around our downeast Maine home. The soles are extremely firm so you're ensured of support, and the inside padding is extremely comfortable. They breathe very well too. A real find.

The Boots Run Small
The fit of the boots was too small. I wear a size 11 M for the Cresta Hiker and order the same size. The Warden's size 11 was too small and returned the boots. The leather felt a bit thin therefore did not reorder the boots in a larger size.
