Happy with new hiking piles. The 4 season hiking poles were great! My husband and I had never used piles hiking before and they were very helpful on the trail to Arethusa Falls in NH. I had thought they would be cumbersome, but we each used one and it was very helpful on both the absent and the descent from the falls.

would not purchase againI bought these to use primarily as ski poles. I put the baskets for the snow on them as direction noted. They seemed secure. With in 2 days they both fell off and were lost.

Not dependableInstead of nuts you can tighten, these poles adjust with screws that you need a screwdriver to tighten. Who carries a screwdriver around with them when hiking? Even when tightened the bottom section of the pole collapsed.

Polls are good baskets fall off easily.I love the weight and the adjustability of these poles however, on my very first hike, one of the baskets fell off and of course I couldn’t find it. It doesn’t help to lose a basket in the winter. I have no idea how to get a replacement basket.

Great poles but they won't stay clipped inI love the look and feel of these poles however the lower section of the poles will not stay clipped to the desired height. Even when they are clipped, they slide and won't stay in position.
