Slippery complaint is valid
This blanket is acceptable in quality and appearance. While it's heavier than Bean's Mountain Fleece Blanket, I can attest that it is not any warmer (I tried each on consecutive nights). The complaint that the waffle blanket slides all over the bed are valid, too. I sandwiched this blanket between two other relatively "grippy" fabrics -- a cotton percale sheet and a quilt with a somewhat rough 100% cotton weave cover -- and, sure enough, in the morning the waffle blanket was scrunched halfway down the length of the bed. Strange, and not ideal. In short, this blanket is reasonable quality but for $20 less, Bean's Mountain Fleece blanket is a better purchase: it's just as warm, will dry more quickly after washing, and will take up less room when you store it for the summer.

Soft, warm and sized right
Well made blanket that is soft and warm. NOT summer weight. It is best suited for fall, winter and early spring. Washed it and there was no fuzz in the dryer lint catcher as you would see with a more cheaply made plush blanket or throw. Bought king size and unlike many blankets that claim to be king, but are short or narrow, this one fits perfectly. Its pricey but worth it in quality.

Best blanket ever !! Will purchase another!!!
This is a fantastic blanket. No shedding or shrinking. My granddaughter, who is in college, has wanted a warm blanket that didn’t shed for her dorm. After going through several options which she totally disliked, she has declared this LL Bean Wickedly Cozy Waffle Blanket the best blanket ever!! She absolutely ❤️s it!!

King Wicked Cozy Waffle Blanket
Ordered Wicked Cozy Waffle Blanket, Ivory color king size. Blanket is soft, fits king size bed as expected, is lightweight but provides lots of warmth. Was sorry Bean discontinued previous cotton waffle blanket I'd ordered for Queen bed several years ago. Cozy blanket is nice but not cotton.

This blanket (and a king sized version I also bought) is very attractive and soft with a nice pattern. However, we could not keep it on the bed. It slides off leaving one of us with the bunched up remnants and the other without the blanket.
