Lovely Boots
These boots are very comfortable even from the first wearing. They have a sneaker look which is very attractive. I haven’t worn them in the rain yet, so I don’t know how waterproof they are.
My only negative is that it is difficult to lace my the hooks at the top of the boot. The last one is at the edge of the top and frequently slips out.

Should have sized up
I have returned the first pair after multiple reviews said to order your regular size (I am a solid 71/2). Even with thinner hiking socks my toe was at the end of the front of the shoe. I liked the look and general feel of the boot and hope the next size up will work.

Expecting great hikes this fall.
Haven't worn yet (hence the 4 stars) but tried them on and they are lightweight and comfortable. Did find a 'rub point' on one ankle, but think I can work this out. (the shoe tongue folds at this point and hits at the ankle bone.) Otherwise, I have high hopes that these boots will be great this fall when the rains start again.

Great Boot
Hiked 9 day through the South Island of New Zealand and they were the most comfortable pair of boots. They have great foot support. I wore them all day on mountains and in streams and rocky beaches. I would buy again if needed.

Great boots! Comfortable and waterproof.
My husband and I bought these boots for a trip to the Pacific Northwest. We love them! They are very comfortable and needed no breaking in time. They are lightweight, so they don't weigh down our suitcases when we are traveling. One day we biked the seawall in Vancouver and it poured rain all day. Amazingly, at the end of the day our feet were still dry. The best part of the boot is that we wore them all day and our feet never got sore like they do in other boots.

Did not work for me
This was a cute shoe but it did not seem supportive enough for hiking. Also was longer than expected. Returned it.

Women's hiking
These are incredibly warm, water proof, and comfortable. I purchased them for my trip to Scotland, knowing I'd be out in a climate that is often cold and rainy. They were perfect.

Good looking, but
I wanted to like these boots. They looked good and the fit was true to size. They just didn't feel as supportive as I wanted. Even adding my orthotic inserts didn't help.

The best spring hiking shoe I’ve ever purchased
These are the best shoes I’ve ever purchased- to my surprise! I bought them because they were on sale. They felt so light and sneaker-like that I didn’t believe they’d support my feet or really stay dry. They do both!! I’ve had 4 foot surgeries (major) and it’s really hard to find shoes that give proper fit and support, especially for hiking. I’ve been spring hiking like crazy. Muddy, washed our trails, flooded areas and streams to cross. My feet stay dry!! And they don’t hurt! How is this possible? I’m going to see if they have a summer version. And maybe buy a spare pair. And go get my husband a pair. You should get some too!

Not waterproof, and holes after less than a year
These are cute and comfortable. But my feet get wet when walking in dewy grass, and there are significant holes in them after less than a year.

Easy movements.. like a sneaker!
These boots are perfect for me as they as not the clunky giant hikers. These resemble a sneaker it fit and styling but can take the hikes! Fit was my exact usual size even after I put in a cushion insoles and wore my hiking socks!! Great ankle support!

I’m so happy with my boots!
These boots are very comfortable. I bought them because the walking shoe of the same design that I’ve been wearing for months are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. The boots give me just as much comfort!! _^..^_

Attractive but hazardous
These are attractive and comfortable boots but they caught on each other while I was walking and caused me to fall.

Great ankle support plus more
I work as a cashier at a very busy grocery store and always a challenge for comfortable shoes. Found them: cushioned ankle support (the best), plenty of room for my not narrow feet, ventilated so my feet doesn't get hot, not heavy shoe, heel lifted enough for added comfort, flat shoe laces that are better than round, lope on back to help put on shoe, even loop for gaiters, and bonus nice looking. Thanks LLB.

SO GOOD!!
I was looking for a light weight hiking boot for my travels to Israel. I tried on many different pairs, and once slipping these on I instantly knew they would take care of me on my adventures to the Middle East!! There is zero break in time- this was huge for me. They are beyond comfortable. My husband was shocked at how much support they had and purchased himself a pair also.
Once in Israel we walked 10-15 miles a day. Rain, cobblestone, sand, hills, rocks, mud, endless slippery steps…. The traction was amazing! I felt the boot was breathable, my feet never got sore, or tired in these shoes!
I would purchase them 10 times over!
Highly recommend!!

They Fit My Extremely Narrow Feet Pretty Well
I only need two pairs of thick socks instead of my usual three to get these to fit pretty well on my 5A/8A feet. I went down a half size from my usual 8 and wish I had tried on the size 7 as well. The mid foot and heel is narrower than any other boot I tried on, including the highly recommended Oboz. This helps stop my foot sliding forward, though on steep downhills of course it still does, but not as much as in other boots I tried (some stores have a little ramp you can test this on). This boot is soft and flexible, really more like a mid rise running shoe than a hiking boot. This soft and flexible material allows me to tighten the laces well, though I am going to have to take the laces out of that middle piece as it prevents the boot from closing as tight as I need. Most people this won't be a problem. They are high enough on the ankle that I can wrap the laces around the ankle, something I need to help keep a boot in place. I do not expect good water resistance from the breathable, mesh uppers and I don't expect them to last long in rough bush, they will tear on blackberries I bet. The soles are not aggressive, certainly not vibram, and I don't expect they will last very long but it's so hard for me to find footwear that fits that I bought them. It was disappointing that only the brown ones are on sale and the store did not have anything other than the grey, at all. This is not a tough hiking boot, I don't think they should even call it a hiking boot. But it's the best fit I found and that's a big plus for extreme feet like mine.

Very Comfortable!
Love these! Just got back from hiking in the Black Hills, and my feet feel great! You don't even notice you have boots on they're so light! They're also very supportive, they come up high enough to help stop any potential ankle rolling!

Nice summer boots
These are nice boots for what they are. They are fabric, so cant expect to get the same support as a leather boot. They grippers on the sole work well on sand, pebbles, dirt roads. They are cool in that my feet dont get hot. The insoles are real cushy, very comfortable. Not so good on steep loose stuff. Imho they are a bit expensive for what they are. I used a bunch of bean bucks. 4 stars due to the price.

Comfortable Hiking Boots
These boots were perfect for my recent trip to Yosemite. I really shouldn’t have purchased so close to my trip, I bought them 5 days before leaving, but they were so comfortable. I purchased my usual size in shoes. The only issue I had is with the right boot. For some reason the top of the boot kept pressing in the top of my ankle. I needed to tape a small pad onto the area for a couple of days, then it was fine. They also kept my feet dry with the few puddles I hiked thru which was also a plus. I’m very happy with them.

So So Hiking Boots
I walk a lot daily and go through our local parks and trails and was in need of some new boots that were comfy yet supportive. I'm a big fan of LLBEAN products, so I thought I would love these boots, but they are just OK . The boots are super comfortable but they don't feel very supportive. I live in the Monterey Bay area and we're going through a major rain spell these days and the boots seem to let water in at the toe area when walking through the park from the wet grass. Been disappointing for me since I was so hoping to love these boots and now they're my backup boots for drier days. I ended up ordering a couple of pairs of boots from another retailer hoping that they will be my "go-to" boots no matter what the weather is.

I may have had a defective pair
Overall, these were the style of boots I was looking for. They are very lightweight, look nice, and are more of a hightop sneaker. However, there was something going on under the insole in the right side of the hiking boots I received. Maybe a mistake in manufacturing, but the left side was nice and flush, and the right side felt like there was some bunching. Also, the top shoe-lace is positioned just above the tongue of the sneaker, almost rendering it useless. I hate to just skip lacing the top lace though, because the shoelace can catch the rivet and trip you pretty bad.

Sturdy but comfortable
My husband got these in the male version and loves. I also needed new hiking boots and so glad I “copied” him. It fits like a sneaker but still sturdy on the mountain!

Nice boot
The boot would be great if they came in wide. I like to wear a good wool sock or a thicker sock than a shoe sock when I hike. I purchased both a 6 and 6 1/2 to see what fit better. . Way too narrow for a hiking boot.

Suitable for light hiking
Glad I I waited to write a review till I had more experience with these boots. My first impression was that they were too roomy and I should have ordered a 9. But with cushy hiking socks and my 3/4 orthotics, the fit was fine. Very large toe box. They're very lightweight, which has its drawbacks. They're great for turfed, mulched, and firm/paved surfaces when you encounter some elevation. They also dry quickly. When it comes to uneven trails strewn with rocks and roots, I prefer my Keen hikers because they have a stiffer, more substantial sole. In short, the elevation hikers are a good compromise between well-made, substantial athletic shoes and sturdy hiking boots.
