Our designers built these to be your go-to boot from the first signs of fall to the muddy days of spring and all the weather between them. They took inspiration from our original all-season boot - the Bean Boot - and added a just-right amount of warm PrimaLoft® to keep your feet comfy on cool, damp days around town, but not too hot inside.

Good boot but…..
Boot is fine but trying to put on is difficult.Much too narrow to easily put on. Once on ok but can only use very thin socks.Great for waterproof walking inmud or water. Walk daily with my dog so once they are great!

Best boots ever!
This is my second pair of LL Bean bar harbor duck boots. After my first pair arrived, yes they were a bit stiff .unlaced them used a shoe horn after a couple wearings they're super easy to get on and off. I can wear them all day with my alpaca socks they are super comfortable. I have a wide toe box I wear a size 8 normally but sometimes find even AIDS too narrow for me. These were comfortable from day one. While they're not good for super cold days they're also great for slightly warmer days as they do not make my feet sweat. They're good for walking the dog working in my pottery studio which has a cement floor they keep my feet nice and warm. I loved him so much I ordered this second pair one to keep for nice and one for my pottery studio. I don't quite understand why people say these are narrow they're anything but narrow. Unlace the boot before you put it on. I unlaced the the top rivets on each side this helped quite a bit I don't find that these bother my ankles at all I wear a normal midweight sock with them and they never bother my ankles while walking my dogs or while wearing all day for that matter.
there are a few comments about them looking like clown shoes well I bought these for warmth and comfort and yes they do look a little big but I'd rather be warm and comfortable for me that's most important. For reference I normally wear a size 8 but I do have a wide foot. I'm 65 5 ft 3 and 125 lb.

Excellent boots
Waterproof, warm and comfortable from the first wear. Highly recommend. Wearing in the Mid-Atlantic region, and the warmth and height is great here. If you are way up north with lots of snow these are probably not enough for you.

Pretty good light duty boots
The cons: they don't look as cool on as they do on the website. They are a little long in the toe (but not so much that interferes with walking or safety). The ankle part is very narrow; I am a small person with smaller-than-average ankles, and I notice it. Larger people may find these uncomfortable or untenable. Also, there is a band of padding on the inside of the top that rubbed on the front/side of my ankle to the point of leaving sore spots. Oh—and there is zero arch support.
The pros: there is plenty of room to add an insole if I want. I think they look kind of dorky on, but I've received compliments on them. They are genuinely waterproof and warm (for above-0F days, at least). They are great for walking the dog. The band of padding seems to be breaking in and doesn't really hurt anymore after wearing them for a couple of weeks. My feet are wide at the ball, have high arches, a high instep, and narrow heels, so shoes that work for me are hard to find.

Perfect boot!
Love! Perfect boot! I got these because I wanted an everyday boot that wasn’t a tall or furry boot. They are wicked comfy and suitable for different atmospheres/vibes. Super warm, even with a thin sock. I will say that I have a 6.5 foot and looking down, I feel like my feet look big, but everyone else says they look normal.

Solid Leather Boot
Looks better on than in photo. Great sale price for real leather. Works well for cool wet days hiking. Comfortable with wool blend boot socks & leggings. Difficult to get on/off especially with a high instep. Loosened laces for easier use, but one big negative is the laces are way too short if not tightened up.

Actually fit my wide feet - good barn shoes
Though these don't come in Wide, I gave them a try because so many comments said they run wide. The sale price was great so I had to take the chance that they'd fit. I have regular rain boots but these seem like they'd be warmer. I have wide feet, high insteps, and fat ankles so boots rarely ever work for me. I did have to unlace them quite far to get them on and they barely work with thicker socks. I got black and really like the contrasting lighter rubber banding.
These worked better than expected and I look forward to wearing them. I volunteer at a local barn so often work in muddy and wet conditions so that's what they'd get used for most.

Comfortable boot
I bought these boots on sale and am happy I did. They are great for rain or shallow snow. They keep my feet warmer than my bean boots and also have better traction. I don’t think I would have paid full price but are definitely worth the sale price.

Boots for winter
I needed a boot with a wide toe box due to medical issues with my feet. Also a boot to wear that would grip snowy & icy sidewalks while I walked my dog which a rain boot doesn't always do. These boots met my expectations which I am thrilled about and feel secure in wearing them. As long as I loosen up the laces and use a shoe horn, I have no problem getting them on especially wearing heavier socks. They keep my feet dry as well. Maybe not the most stylish however they keep me and my dog happy. A 4 instead of a 5 due to degree of difficulty in putting them on.
