Oh this coat is so “comfy-cozy” per my first grader!! 3-in-1 coats are just the best for Fall/Winter/Spring! Fits well, as I sized up so he could wear for two years! Slightly large on him due to size up, so I estimate true to size :)

The inside fleece liner takes up too much space. The result, the jacket is too tight around the chest and belly area. Difficult to zip.

Slim sleeves, but high quality materials
I absolutely love the styling, colors - I bought both pink and green - and the materials are very high quality. My only complaint is the sleeves, they're a bit narrow, especially at the cuff. They are fine on my lean 6 year old daughter, but they are a bit too snug on my average sized (not even chubby!) 4 year old son. I also wish the fleece sleeves were lined with a nylon or similar material, that would make it so much easier to get on and off. It's hard to have a kid with mittens on slide their arms through the sleeves.

Great 3 in 1jacket for my 14.5 year old however not in love with tje fleece - it reminds me of Cookie Monster - it’s very furry looking - who did they change the material??

Fleece Lined Colorblock 3 in 1 Kids
My daughter in law loves this jacket for my grandson. He wears it all the time because of its versatility in various temps and weather. Been wearing it for two years and just bought this one in bigger size. Will get passed down to his brother and then his cousin.

Nice style but zip on hood is a fail!
I bought this at the beginning of the school year, looking for the great quality product I've purchased over the years as our son has grown. While this coat looks similar to products from the past, it's functionality leaves something to be desired. Specifically the zip on hood is extremely flimsy and easily unzips when you don't want it to, and doesn't offer enough coverage for the average kid to make functional. The fit is nice, the colors are great, and the fleece is warm, but for the price, I expect the hood to be more functional. It might be best to just be a regular hood rather than a zip off hood.

Awful design
This jacket is great in theory but the fleece liner is forever getting bunched up in the sleeves of the jacket, making it very difficult to get it on my kid. Find another option and save yourself the headaches.

Versatile warm jacket
I have bought three of these over the years for my son (5, 6 next month). They wear well and last!. They have made it to his little cousins and look like new! This year I had original purchased another style to try out but it wasn’t nearly as durable. I ended up returning it for this style. My son is all boy and very hard on his clothes. I will continue to buy this style for years to come.

Sensory kid friendly
Warm, plush, a sensory kids dream coat. My son is on the spectrum and thrives on soft materials. The inner lining is so soft. He loves wearing this. The outer shell has been updated since the last tri climate jacket we had was not water proof. This outer shell repels water. We live near Lake Erie with frigid temps. No complaints about him being cold.

Smart little jackets!
Purchased two of these jackets for my GREAT Nephews, age 3 and 5! The fit is good, and they look great in them. Same jacket they wore before, just growing in their size. Highly recommend for the versatile of wearing just the inner shell or both. Bring on the snow!

What's not to Like?
Typical of LL Bean products, quality is uncompromised. The jacket is versatile and offers much. A size 10 would have been a tad tight if he had worn a sweatshirt or sweater with the jacket. Size 12 is a bit long and large, at this time. Hopefully, the fit will be just right next year. Right now, my little grandson is between sizes.

Thinner Than I Remember
In the past I have bought versions of this for my kids, and so now my youngest was in need of a new winter coat, we again decided to go for this 3-in-1 option. It arrived, and while it looks visually attractive, it seems very thin. Thin enough that we have some doubts about how warm it would be. It seems thinner than ones we have had previously, and so it will be going back and we will be finding another option elsewhere. At the cost of this coat, I shouldn't have doubts about whether my child will stay warm in the winter.
