Solid leggings
I gave these to my 22-year-old daugther-in-law for Christmas and she wore them to the gym the next week. She said that they worked well, and that she liked the 7/8ths length. :) The seafoam is an attractive shade.

Looks like it has a stain
Although the leggings are good quality, the llbean sticker that is permanently affixed to the leg looks like a stain, and ruins the clean looks of the pants.

Perfect for Kayaking

Wonderful fabric
Perfect for Tai Chi moves. BUT I ordered a large so they would not be skin tight. I usually wear a small or medium. The large turned out to be the right choice. Order up a size or two if you want them not too tight.

Good quality but fit didn't work for me
The reason these didn't work for me was size related so for context I'll share that I'm 5'4" / 107# / 28.5" inseam and at the age where, to crib the John Mayer song lyric, "gravity is working against me" for body shape of muffin-top-middle. I typically wear a 2 in regular size bottoms (or sometimes a 4 petite as my height and short legs have me right on the cusp of both) and in things like this an XS thinking they would be perfect for my weekly physical therapy sessions and for doing the home program exercises too. So that's the size I ordered but, boy howdy, I felt like these were painted on from the hips down (and I have leaning to thinner legs) and I felt as if I was peeling off plastic-wrap when I took them off after trying them. I was surprised given comments of others about fit, even too long in crotch or baggy in lower legs. I liked the sorta-navy blue color and that it was on sale was even better. But as good quality as the fabric seemed to be, I knew trading these up for a size Small to see if they would work for size still wasn't going to be my thing. But if they work for you, I'd recommend them for quality.

Soft material, matte color.
I have been waiting for 2 years to get a navy pair of these leggings in my size. I have all the other colors and I know they fit me. I buy a larger size because I do not want them skin tight. I'm 5'1", 125lbs (most days) and they sit nicely with just enough room to look good on a 73Yr old woman.
I'd say if you want them to look like traditional leggings (form-fitting) buy your regular size. If I did want them snugg I'd buy a medium, vs the large I got. Sure, I could get into a small but I'd feel like a sausage!
