From water to land, the opportunities are endless in these comfy do-it-all swim shorts. Our most innovative swim liner is made from a soft, stretch jersey fabric that's quick-drying, anti-microbial and won't cause chafing.
This high-performance swimwear is made with approximately 34 recycled plastic bottles in every short.
- UPF 50+ rated fabric blocks at least 97.5% of the sun's UV rays - 10x more than a white cotton tee.
- Outer layer is recycled 69% polyester, 19% cotton and 12% spandex.
- Liner is recycled 92% polyester and 8% spandex.
- Abrasion, salt and chlorine resistant to withstand multiple washes and wears.
- Durable water-repellent finish lets water roll off surface of fabric.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Zippered security pocket.
- Elastic waistband has an internal adjustable drawstring for a customizable fit.

Great trunks!

Probably OK
I got these swim trunks yesterday. They seem ok and fit me (I am 5”-9” and 165 lb.) I noticed the laundry instructions say to not use chlorine bleach if washing them. I only swim by doing laps in a club pool. The water contains chlorine. My other trunks (also polyester/spandex) are all bleached out and always smell of chlorine regardless of how much I rinse them after swimming. I called L. L. Bean to inquire and the representative told me my new trunks will not fade because they are polyester/spandex. Time will tell. I am skeptical.

Very comfortable
Bought this pair and the orange plaid pair. I like that they look a little faded/worn look. Like the liner which is more form fitting (protects privacy). They can go in the washer. Wish they offered lighter colors as I live in FL, where the sun is hot.

Walk on the beach with a wet bathing suit!
These have an inner liner that is like wearing light compression shorts. They aren't tight and restrictive but they prevent chafing especially when you are walking on the beach and are wet with salt water. The outer shell looks like regular shorts, it doesn't cling when they are wet and these dry pretty fast.

All-Adventure shorts are not for all adventures
Thought I would use for all adventures, but no. Good for being wet/damp, deep front pockets, zip back pocket. The substantial fabric, although synthetic, dries relatively slowly and with the liner is quite warm. The liner lacks support enough for running.

Best swim shorts ever!
Most comfortable pair of swim shorts I have EVER worn. Bought another color I loved them so much. Just wish they made more variations in color. Also wish they made them for children. My son is 8 and gets irritated by most of the typical mesh liners. This liner is like wearing a pair of boxer briefs and causes NO irritation or uncomfortable pulling. Love these shorts.

Doin' the "back-in-time" stroke in these trunks!
Although the swim trunks were a little more than I would normally pay for swim wear, the quality of them is top notch. Nice thicker satin-like lining made them super comfortable. I must say that the first thing that caught my eye was the kind of retro look of the stipes and of course the color scheme. I'm very happy with the purchase.
