Worth checking out.
These are nice and roomy, love that they are slip ons and waterproof. Goof for mildly cold weather, not for winter weather, would not be warm enough.

Wearing them in the ice and snow of Michigan
Great boots. Very comfortable. I went up a size as needed a wider width. No slipping or sliding on ice.

Perfect lightweight boots for neighborhood walks
I purchased these boots for walks in the neighborhood, as I wanted an alternative to running shoes. When I read a description referring to these as city hiking boots, I decided to try them out. I have severe bunions and overall foot pain from years of running and mountain hiking, so my footwear needs to accommodate my foot issues. These boots have been great so far for the following reasons. 1) they have a stretchy fabric and work well for my bunions, 2) they fit perfectly (thank you LLBean for providing half sizes!), 3) they have very solid soles and good treads, 4) they are providing comfortable support for my 3 mile pavement walks, 5) they are easy to put on, with no laces, and I can either zip up the sides or leave them unzipped in case of swollen feet, 6) they are very attractive!, I would highly recommend these boots!

Good looking shoe that smells horrible
Love the style but cant wear them. From the box, these shoes reek a smell that wont die. Since the day they arrived for amonth now they have been airing out outside, to no avail. I also bought charcoal odor eater products which did nothing. I believe the smell is from the shoe material itself...probably the rubber soles.I will be soaking in vinigar in a long soak, as a last resort but I dont think this is just a surface smell. Im pretty sure they will never be wearable.

Very nice boots
Very nice, well made boots. After I purchased them I saw another boot I liked even better. I returned them and purchased those.

Nicely made boot.
Shame one can't get one boot on at least one foot. I should have listened to my gut when I saw they weren't selling very fast. Unfortunately, I ordered two pair. Oh, well, in the bin they go.

Horrible strong mildew musty smell
These shoes have stunk up the entire first level of my home plus garage (wherever I’ve set them). I have put baking soda in them, used alcohol pad wipes, washed in machine, placed outside in below zero weather, put in dryer, wiped out with tea tree oil and nothing has helped. The worst smell ever that does not go away. I will not:cannot wear them which is such a disappointment because I would love to wear them as they are exactly what I was looking for, minus the disgusting odor. I shouldn’t have to pay shipping to return them. llbean should pay to fumigate my house of the smell lingering in the air from these shoes.

Not very comfortable
I got the boots for a very good price otherwise I would be really annoyed with this purchase. They chafe your achilles tendons when you wear them. Strange fit. I may need to wear very thick socks to prevent this. I have worn them 4 times and they still chafe. Cute boots but not very comfortable.

Slip on boot
I wanted a shorter boot I could slip on. I found this boot on sale and could not pas it up. I ordered a half size larger so I could wear thicker socks with it. But while the length is good, the boot runs just a tad too narrow to wear thicker socks.

You need a pair
Regular size I exchanged the 7 for my regular 7.5 and glad I did. I am able to wear thicker socks for colder days. I can say I do not feel cold wind and I actually can feel the ground and gas pedal. I do not like real thick books to walk on ice, with that being said if you live north of NC you will have to buy heavier boots. But so far I like these

So Tight
I normally wear 8-81/2. These 8 1/2 were so tight.. Would probably not be if I wore no socks. But this would not at all be comfortable on my foot. Still felt "rough" with a thinner sock. Just can't make this work. Returning them. P.S. very cute.

Excellent in so many ways
These were comfortable right out of the box. I have a wider forefoot and narrow heels and often find many M width shoes to be on the narrow side—not these! Wore them for several hours and my feet felt great. Lightweight yet warm—will be great for running errands, walking the dog, etc.

Hug my feet
Very comfortable shoes and great price. I have skinny feet and lower ankle joints and most shoes don’t fit right but these fit like gloves! And they are wider compared to same size shoes I have. So the toes area is roomy. Thank you LLBean, I’ve never been disappointed with anything I bought from the brand! 100% guaranteed satisfaction all them past years!

Good shoe
I like the ease of off/on. Comfortable wear after a few heavy wear days following purchase, my feet weren’t tired or achy. Just recently worn in snow and did well with traction, however very thin so feet got cold quick and I tried to not get the material wet. But of course it’s not built for snow. The style is nice and works with many clothing options. Overall very happy with my purchase and the design of the shoe. With all LL Bean shoes I go up a size in fit to accommodate my comfort of fit I have small feet but some can be narrow.

Amazing lightweight weatherproof choice.
Needed lightweight shoe for trekking on campus while keeping my feet dry. These are perfect for cold rainy days or sloppy snow while running errands. If this were available in a half size, it would be amazing. Requires insoles and thick socks to take up the slack for my long narrow foot.

great fitting shoe boot
Great fitting shoe boot I bought these because I hate to wear boots unless I have to. I can wear these during winter without my feet sweating or being confined by boots. My feet won't get cold through these.

Vacation shoes
Bought these for a 2 week trip to Europe. These shoes have walked 3 countries although cycled in and out with a couple of other shoes. I’m very happy with my purchase. They fit true size. Little to no impact on a bunion on one foot.

Lightweight. Packable. Water resistant.
After endless consternation, these were the shoe/boots I ordered for a December trip to Dublin & Galway. I needed a pair that I wouldn’t hate, comfortable out of the box, squishable enough to pack nearly flat. Ideally low profile enough to take me to pub in case I didn’t have time to change. I’m hoping these are the ones.

Love these Mid Boots. They are the most comfortable boot/shoe I own. Love the wide toe box. I would recommend these to anyone. I chose the tennis shoe size I wear and were perfect.

Quick outdoor footing!
I really like these for what I bought them for -- a quick pull on when I'm heading out the back door to go play ball with the dogs. They are very comfortable and, really, I rarely need to use the zippers. The heel tab is generally enough to get them on. So far they've been durable, but time will tell. Since I'm kicking soccer ball size balls for the dogs, it tends to wear out the top of the shoe near the toe. I have not had these long enough to know if they'll experience the same fate. That said, they stay on my feet, are comfortable and, as stated before, are very quick to put on. Just the thing!
