LOVE THIS EASY SLIP ON SHOE
I needed an easy slip on shoe for early mornings and being in the backyard with the dogs. I love how easy it is to slip into this shoe and run out to clean up after the dogs. The design is fantastic and my feet stay dry in the early morning dew or after the sprinklers have run.

Pitiful Quality
I bought these in yellow in early spring. I wasn't climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro or hiking through the Rockies, just using them for gardening. The looked very robust and when I received them, felt the same. Not long after wearing them, and yes with thicker socks as they do fit larger, the tops cracked right at the top and are now across the width of both shoes. I would have expected a quality product from LL Bean. They need to remove the word "Rugged" from the shoe's descriptive as it is completely deceptive. SAD!

Women’s Rugged Rain Shoes
The first thing I noticed when I removed them from the shoe box was their weight. Each shoe felt like it weighed five pounds. Where I have long, narrow, flat feet, I have to insert arch supports on them. At first, they felt clunky; but after having them on for awhile, I adjusted to them. They’ll definitely keep my feet dry, when raining, and they sit right below my ankles.

Not the quality I usually get from LLB
I bought these shoes last August to wear walking the dog in rainy weather. I don’t wear them often, but by November , the upper shoe was cracking (so no longer good for the rain). I buy a lot from LLB and hate complaining, but I put them on yesterday to find the upper shoe pulling away from the sole. I was looking at rain boots to replace them, and saw the same style. I won’t be replacing my leaky shoes with the same.

Good waterproof shoes
I do like that these are truly waterproof - great for dog walking and working in the yard when the grass is wet. They do seem to run a bit big, but I don't think going a smaller size would've worked. Will make do with heavier socks.

Happy with my purchase.
Ordered a size down as suggested and fit was good. They are surprisingly comfortable with padding at the sole. Using them mostly for dog walking and they do the trick. Keep my feet dry, not slippery, comfy for at least a mile and half. Didn't give them a 5 due to appearance. Don't like the pointy toes and higher heals. I'm not crazy about the blue color, but sale price was good.

Great for purpose
The Rugged Wellie Shoes are terrific for purpose. Comfortable enough but less comfortable than your favorite sneaker, pretty good looking and fit is pretty close to perfect (I think I had to size up the next full size with no half sizes available). Of course, love the pull on style.

Love my Low Wellies in Ireland!

Nor true to size
Finally got a pair of waterproof shoes. I am a landscaper. Originally ordered size 9 - my size. Way too large. Returned and opted for size 8 with hope. They fit like a glove. Not sure why because every other pair of shoes I own are size 9.

Received these shoes early May. They were used for walking my dog and working in the garden. Very disappointed 3 1/2 months later both shoes cracked across the top. In one of the past reviews a customer had the same problem. They have been returned still waiting for my refund.

Perfectly awesome
Very very good. Beyond my expectations. I didn’t know how how ell these boot water resistant low rain shoes are. They are boot quality. Hard rubber, comfortable and look much better in person. You can also wear socks with them. Great for taking the dog out or getting the mail, quick run to errands, strongly advise.

Would have given a 5, but starting to crack
I recently moved from a massive city to an acre property in the country. I usually go for cheaper footwear but knowing I would be doing loads of yard work, I decided to invest in higher quality footwear.
I purchased the Rugged Wellies Shoes. They arrived quickly. The colour is gorgeous. They slip on easily and are extremely comfortable. I would have given them a perfect rating, but yesterday I noticed both shoes have developed deep cracks in them on the front sides and top, near the big toe area. On one shoe, it is deep enough that my sock is exposed in that spot. I have only had them 3-4 months, but wear them for periods of time each day. I also wear them to walk my dogs in a nearby conservation area, they are that comfortable. I am hoping I just got a slightly faulty pair, because I plan to order lots more!

Design fits well and keeps feet dry in rain/snow
Perfect design. The neoprene like fabric collar fits perfectly to my feet and ankles keeping water/snow out of the shoe. The shoe comfortably allows for my high arches. They are a bit heavier than I was expecting for a shoe, more in boot weight, but still good.

Watch out for size
I got these boots to do yard work in, mow lawn, etc. My yard is hilly and takes a long time for the dew to dry so I needed a shoe that is sturdy and has good traction. These are it! I’ve only worn them once so far, and so far they are holding up, as opposed to what other people’s experience has been. I hope they are durable and will last a long time; as I can’t comment on that yet.
Why not 5 stars? Sizing. I wear an 8.5, ordered a 9 per recommendation. I could step right out of the 9s. I couldn’t exchange them until my favorite color (yellow) was back in stock. The 8 fits well and I can wear them with good socks.

These are really really good rain boots
I can’t explain in enough words how Good LL Bean products are. They hold up. They are comfortable, but hey fit 100 % right, did i say, i Love the color. You will not slip in these. I can take my dog out in this mildew season and i say you won’t be putting these in the closet. They are just the cats meow. But i have a dog:). More reason to have comfortable rain shoes.
