Love my Low Wellies in Ireland!

Nor true to size
Finally got a pair of waterproof shoes. I am a landscaper. Originally ordered size 9 - my size. Way too large. Returned and opted for size 8 with hope. They fit like a glove. Not sure why because every other pair of shoes I own are size 9.

Received these shoes early May. They were used for walking my dog and working in the garden. Very disappointed 3 1/2 months later both shoes cracked across the top. In one of the past reviews a customer had the same problem. They have been returned still waiting for my refund.

Perfectly awesome
Very very good. Beyond my expectations. I didn’t know how how ell these boot water resistant low rain shoes are. They are boot quality. Hard rubber, comfortable and look much better in person. You can also wear socks with them. Great for taking the dog out or getting the mail, quick run to errands, strongly advise.

Would have given a 5, but starting to crack
I recently moved from a massive city to an acre property in the country. I usually go for cheaper footwear but knowing I would be doing loads of yard work, I decided to invest in higher quality footwear.
I purchased the Rugged Wellies Shoes. They arrived quickly. The colour is gorgeous. They slip on easily and are extremely comfortable. I would have given them a perfect rating, but yesterday I noticed both shoes have developed deep cracks in them on the front sides and top, near the big toe area. On one shoe, it is deep enough that my sock is exposed in that spot. I have only had them 3-4 months, but wear them for periods of time each day. I also wear them to walk my dogs in a nearby conservation area, they are that comfortable. I am hoping I just got a slightly faulty pair, because I plan to order lots more!

Design fits well and keeps feet dry in rain/snow
Perfect design. The neoprene like fabric collar fits perfectly to my feet and ankles keeping water/snow out of the shoe. The shoe comfortably allows for my high arches. They are a bit heavier than I was expecting for a shoe, more in boot weight, but still good.

Watch out for size
I got these boots to do yard work in, mow lawn, etc. My yard is hilly and takes a long time for the dew to dry so I needed a shoe that is sturdy and has good traction. These are it! I’ve only worn them once so far, and so far they are holding up, as opposed to what other people’s experience has been. I hope they are durable and will last a long time; as I can’t comment on that yet.
Why not 5 stars? Sizing. I wear an 8.5, ordered a 9 per recommendation. I could step right out of the 9s. I couldn’t exchange them until my favorite color (yellow) was back in stock. The 8 fits well and I can wear them with good socks.

These are really really good rain boots
I can’t explain in enough words how Good LL Bean products are. They hold up. They are comfortable, but hey fit 100 % right, did i say, i Love the color. You will not slip in these. I can take my dog out in this mildew season and i say you won’t be putting these in the closet. They are just the cats meow. But i have a dog:). More reason to have comfortable rain shoes.

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for. True to size. Easy to get on and off. I love the cuff that keeps hay out of my shoes. The deep tread is a bit hard to clean but that is minor. I will buy these again.

TOO HEAVY!
I purchased these wellie shoes for an upcoming trip but when I received them, I was shocked by how much they weigh. They are not designed for distance walking and certainly not good for packing in a suitcase. I noticed for some other shoes, LL Bean shows the weight of the shoe, but in this case they did not. It would have been helpful to know before ordering. These will be returned.

Fairly comfortable and waterproof
3.5 stars - these shoes are waterproof, and fairly comfortable, but the sole is heavy, and I really need more foot support so I can't wear them for an extended period of time. They are easy to slip on, and a little loose in the heel

Lasted 3 Months. Horrible construction, do not buy
My wife has used these for gardening for 3 months. There are numerous cracks in the rubber, and they are NOT waterproof! Made by Ariat under the LL Bean name, they give both LL Bean and Wellies a bad name. They are junk.

Great Shoes…but wish were made to last!
I bought these shoes three months ago and LOVED them! I had to size down, but they were super comfortable after being broken in and perfect for morning walks when the grass was wet
I had seen reviews that the rubber cracked for some and hoped that wouldn’t happen with mine. I even made sure to keep these inside as much as possible so the sunlight wouldn’t damage them.
Unfortunately, after three months of pretty minimal use (10 minutes walks in the morning), the rubber did crack! It was small at first, but got worse to the point I was afraid to wear them. I was super sad to return these. Hoping LL Bean can use better materials for the next generation of Wellies because I would love to try another pair one day.

Good fit
I have a high instep so certain shoes just don’t work. Tried these on and I was excited that they fit with room!! Haven’t actually worn these yet as they were just purchased but I am looking forward to wearing them this fall and maybe early winter. There is room for a good pair of socks!

Cracks after a few weeks
These shoes are very comfortable. I loved them for the first month. Then I noticed a crack over the area over the big toe. I returned them. I then ordered another pair because I just thought it was a fluke. However the second pair also cracked across the forefoot area after about a month. Both pairs had thin cracks that you may not notice until your feet get wet. I returned both pairs. I eventually received a full refund but I had to call for the shipping and handling to be refunded since this is definitely a manufacturing defect.
