Great fit, deep pockets, but the drawstrings...
Pros: Bought these recently and love the fit. They wash well, are comfortable, and the pockets are deep enough for my phone and other things. They also have buttons in the waistband so the pants can be cinched a little tighter if necessary. Great feature.
Cons: They don't come in plus petite. The drawstrings around the ankles are... laughable at best. Great idea, poor execution in that you have to keep tucking them back into the tiny pocket designed to hold it out of the way and prevent tripping. I have to use the drawstring in order to make them short enough to wear so I don't fall on the pantlegs. Then there's the zipper... Who on earth decided to put the button and zipper placket so it opens to the left rather than right the way every other pair of pants (womens OR mens) does? It's awkward.

I have purchased this item for hiking and other outdoor activities. I love everything about them except for the rise. The Mid-Rise sits low, and it would be wonderful if they came in High-Rise for a better fit for individuals with long waists or wear medium tall

My "Go To" Pants for Nearly Any Occasion
Comfort Trail pants and capris have been my favorite pants for may years... I have them in every color available and would have more if more colors were offered! They are well-made, with quality materials. That being said, I am extremely disappointed to learn that Comfort Trail capris have been discontinued!!! Please bring them back in more colors!

Pockets! These pants are great for traveling
I have used LLBean hiking pants for travel for the ease of drying after washing. The side-zip pocket on the Comfort Trail pants used for a recent trip worked better than the cargo style on the Mountainside pants last year. And the so-wonderfully deep front pockets on the Comfort Trail are far better than the itty-bitty on the VentureStretch. I came to write a review b/c the Comfort Trail worked so well and I got 2 more with lovely timing of a sale. I do hope the styling will be the same for a while. The only improvement - for me - would be 2 of the side-zip pockets.
