Nice pants but a strange fit
I usually take a size 14 but after reading these reviews I ordered a size 20. They are designed for curvy ladies, but I am built like a rectangle. The 20 has a roomy fit but the waist is huge. Fortunately, the waist has an adjustable waistband of buttons and elastic tape. That works.
The pockets are good and deep, and some have zippers. The material is good.
I still don't know what size I should have ordered. I spoke to the chat line but they had no idea.

About the size....my experience may help others...
I'm 5"4" and weight 132 pounds. 72 years old so a little "thick". I usually wear a 10 or 12 petite and I purchased the 12 petite. They were too short in the seat. I returned them and purchased a 12 regular and a 14 petite. The 14 petite was great in the length of the seat (crotch) but a bit "ample" in the thighs. I returned that pair. The 12 regular was Goldilocks "just right". These seem to be great pants and they have a gusset in the crotch which I think will work well. The back pockets have nice inconspicious zippers. The pockets are deep and lie flat. There is a small cord at the bottom of each pant's leg and a little pouch sewn into the underside of the leg that you could tuck the little cord with it's "lock" if you wanted to cinch the pants let around your boot or ankle. It's well done and not bulky...didn't even realize it was there at first. Like the feel of the fabric. All good now that I've got the correct size. And the granite color is a dark gray. Nice.

Love the fabric and fit but not the length of MT
I really like these pants. I’ve owned every color in size14 medium tall and the length was perfect. Now I wear a size 10 and the medium tall leg length of 33 is too long and 31 is too short. Hemming with the draw cord at the bottom is not possible. I so wish the leg length of 32 was available again. Just my two cents. Thank you for listening.
PS - I have recently purchased 4 pair of the capris in size 10 and they all fit great!

Excellent product
Great fabric and styling. I use these as everyday pants nearly year-round and the shorts version on hot days. Med/Tall option means legs are long enough for me. Wish there were phone pocket on both sides.

Comfortable and durable
I love these pants. I have several pairs of the earlier version and have worn them daily for years now. They still look great but I wanted two more and was delighted to learn that they are now water repellant. Great fit and I love all the zippered pockets.

Trail pants
Size 6 were a little snug. I usually wear size 4 and like looser fit of 6. Also they rustle when I walk. I do like that they are made with a woman's body and fit at the waist.

not a flattering cut
The "regular" size 18 does fit, but is very unflattering if you have a poochy lower belly as I do. The waistband is not very stretchy, despite the fabric having good stretch. I do like the material and the depth of the pockets. I would like to see a better design on the waistband and a more forgiving cut between waist and hips, perhaps wider/looser all over. Would be good for someone with a flatter tummy.

Great all around pants
This pants are perfect for anything you want to do. They have a slight stretch, zippered pockets that fit phones and other important items. They launder well and I love the color..goes with everything and is slimming! These replaced another pair of hiking/travel pants that I have had for years from LL Bean that wore like iron. I expect these will do as well if not better. Good price for a long lasting pair of pants.

Design flaw-No loops, not really trail pants.
These were my new favorite pants when I wore them on walks from home. The first time I drove to a trailhead, I was shocked to find there isn’t a single loop either by the waist or even on a side. I have my keys and a water bottle each on a carabiner and these pants have no way to attach a carabiner. The pockets are very thin for quick drying and so I’m sure I’ll have holes quickly from having to put keys in a pocket.

Mid rise waists aren't for me.
Quality of construction was superb. Fabric is high quality. But that mid rise waistline just doesn't work for me. I really wish you would make more of your merchandise in a standard waistline option.

Water Repellant Trail Pants
I spent 9 days in Iceland! They are "light weight" and packed compactly. These pants were perfect for the ever changing weather. They kept me dry, I could wear layers underneath and they dried very quickly. I could move easily and comfortably in them. With a little airing, I was able to alternate between the 2 pairs of pants that I had purchased.

Very comfortable, lightweight, attractive
Bought these for a trip to Scotland, where I expected to want something nicer than my usual leggings for some hiking, sightseeing, and (casual) dinners without having to change during the day. These fit the bill, and even though our weather was so good on the trip that their water-repellant properties were only tested once (and found to be quite good!), they were very comfortable, went with several different tops, and were not out of place hiking to waterfalls or dining in pubs.

Versatile pants
This is my fourth pair of these pants. I like the lightweight, smooth fabric, zip pockets and adjustable band inside waistband. They are cool and comfortable for hot weather and go into late fall with thin long underwear. They also dry quickly in the dryer. Another plus is that, although casual, they have a slightly tailored look which, with a nice summer tee or other summer shirt, looks suitable for a greater variety of indoor public venues in hot weather.

Women's Comfort Trail Pant
Bought for an upcoming 4 week trip to Africa. Thrilled with purchase. Ended up buying 3 pair. No shrinkage with washing/drying. Hung up by legs and dried overnight with minimal wrinkling. Put in dryer with minimal wrinkling. Waist band is adjustable with elastic band on inside. Roomy enough that I can wear long underwear underneath for cold mornings. Can cinch the bottom of legs to keep the tsetse flies out. Thanks to all those who added their height and weight to their reviews. It helped tremendously!! (I'm 5'1", 125 pounds. 64 years old.) Will wear on safari, sightseeing, and to dinner at night.

Best Trail Pants
I've been wearing this style of trail pants for years. They are a perfect fit, wash and dry easily when I'm on vacation and always look great. I hike and bird in them. This navy color looks a bit more dressy for evening wear. People often ask where I got them and they order them

Passing on a great discovery!
I love these pants,so much so that I quickly sent a pair to my sister in Maine . She was reminded that she was still hiking with a pair from from ten years ago (or longer) and loved the new color.

Waist band buttons fall off.
I love these pants and have had them in all colors and various sizes but lately the buttons on the inside waist fall off. Poor quality of sewing. Can you send me 2 buttons?

Well made pants for outdoors
LL Bean quality. I ordered a 4 Reg and they were too tight. I did not like the fabric either, as it "rustles" as you walk. Great pockets. Functional pant. The sizing gets me every time.

Great pants for this senior citizen!!
I have every color except granite. This pants have seen me on several trips to Hawaii as well as almost everywhere around our mountain area. Very easy to layer in the winter. Love the adjustable waist! You can indulge while on vacation without worrying.

Terrific addition for traveling
Great fabric that fits well, draping softly over my hips and legs in contrast to other quickly dry clothing that can feel stiff. Neutral color that works well with many other colors.
