Zipper Broke
I got this bag to use for little daytrips with friends. Used it about 3 times (light use) - went to put phone back in purse and zip it up and the one side was detached from the zipper joiner mechanism. Could probably still use it, but not sure that contents won't all get dumped out.

Nice size, sturdy but lightweight. A great crossbody for sightseeing in Europe. I only wish the inside zippered fabric was a bit stiffer. It collapses and makes it hard to get into.

Great little bag if you get a good one
I ordered this bag in Thyme and it was a great color, but there were several small problems that added up to a "no." The bag was very stiff overall, even accounting for waxed canvas. The strap was much too stiff for a purse; it was practically inflexible and felt cheap and "pleathery." And though it's something of a nitpick, the small leather logo was sewn on crookedly, which I didn't expect from an LLBean product. Back it went.
The Thyme color had been on backorder when I purchased it, so I though maybe I had just hit a bad batch. I decided to give the purse a second chance since it is the perfect size for daily use for me and packs a lot of punch in terms of practicality for such a small bag. It holds my phone with a wallet case, an additional card-case wallet, 2 key rings, a hard shell eyeglass case, a pocket pack of tissues, a lip balm, a small pill case, and a small pen, all without feeling bulky or heavy. The second bag is Feldspar, and it has none of the problems of the first bag I received. The bag feels less stiff overall, the strap (while still a bit "pleathery") is flexible and comfortable on the shoulder, and the logo is sewn on straight. No idea why the second bag worked out, but it did. I would give it 4.5 stars, taking into account that the quality seemed luck-of-the-draw.

Small but versatile
This bag is small but fits what I need for a day out - small wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, lipsticks, etc. I wanted a water repellent bag that sits comfortably across my shoulder and this is perfect. I'll add my passport and will be taking this to London next month.

Dandy little bag
I use this dandy little bag when I’m just carrying ID, keys, phone and poop bags (yes, I’m a dog walker). It’s sturdy and water doesn’t penetrate The only change I’d like is an outside pocket.

A great stylish crossover bag for a great price!
Bought this cross over bag for a young lady for Christmas. She just loved it! The material and color choice she says was perfect, as was the size. Room enough for wallet, lipstick, keys, Kleenex, etc. Just right for shopping and/or traveling.

Love This Gem of a Bag!
I just received my new canvas, leather, small but fabulous bag and I’m very pleased. I read the reviews and took the nay sayers into consideration but purchased it anyway. Happy I did because this is a well made and cute bag, handy for running errands and city life. I do whole heartedly recommend it if you don’t need a big bag to schlepp tons of stuff around with you.

Rustic but well made
I kept the bag because it fits my needs and I like rustic.It is a little bulky with the leather bottom and strap. BUT it is very well made and will last forever. I wanted something to shop with hands free wearing jeans and this is perfect. Not for a date night tho, So if its your style then NO hesitation!

Cute, casual bag!
I prefer a small, everyday bag and this bag is pretty much perfect. The only thing I’d change is the length of the strap. It hits me at the top on the hip (I’m 5’2”) and wish it sat a little lower.

Cute Bag for Folks who like Something Simple
This is a nice sized bag for a few essentials. I prefer something small so that I don't weigh myself down with unnecessary things. The strap could be a tad longer, but it works over the shoulder and as a crossbody. I like how it goes with most outfits. It is a nice neutral.

The quality wasn’t the usual quality
I returned the purse. The strap was like a belt not just a thin strap. The llbean label was not straight and the blue wasn’t very true blue. Sorry but very disappointed.

Cross-body bag
The cross- body bag is just the right size and the strap is adjustable so that even a short person, like me, can wear it over the shoulder or cross-body. I docked it one star because it is stiff and hard to access items that fall to the bottom. There is an interior zipped pocket to use for cash or a few small items. That helps!

Nice bag, weak zipper
Bought this for my 13 year old daughter, who hates carrying a purse. She likes it enough to use it. Unfortunately the zipper broke after less than a week. Her dad repaired it and I sewed it so it wouldn't break again. Nice design, needs stronger construction.
