Our original SunSmart™ apparel, Tropicwear was first introduced in 1992 to protect destination anglers from the hot tropical sun. Customers quickly discovered Tropicwear wasn't just for fishing, using it for just about anything outdoors. It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. Best of all, Tropicwear still provides UPF 50+ sun protection, or about 10 times more than a white cotton tee.

Pleasantly surprised

Excellent Work Shirt
This shirt is comfortable for work in Florida. Loose enough in shoulder area for unrestricted body movement. Nice fabric and venting on the upper back. Competes with Columbia Tamiami Shirt. I gave a 4 star rating instead of five because price is a bit high and because of the hidden pocket on the back, left side hip area. Don’t know why this pocket exists. Tricky to Access. Please get rid of this pocket and lower the price.

If you want a relaxed fit, order size up.
This shirt runs a little small. I got the women's XL and I was surprised it was an athletic cut. It does fit, but it's snug and I wish it had a little bit of a relaxed fit for a casual shirt. I love the shirt style and fabric, but if it was a little more relaxed it would be much better. That's why I only gave 4 stars instead of 5.
