Our original SunSmart™ apparel, Tropicwear was first introduced in 1992 to protect destination anglers from the hot tropical sun. Customers quickly discovered Tropicwear wasn't just for fishing, using it for just about anything outdoors. It's been updated with a better fit, new stretch woven fabric that's softer and better ventilation. Best of all, Tropicwear still provides UPF 50+ sun protection, or about 10 times more than a white cotton tee.

Great for Florida vacation!
Love, love the green one with fish on it. Fits well and cool, and you cannot see the ll bean logo easily. Loved the color of the lilac one , but I returned it since the ll bean logo is so prominent on it!

Not a good fit for short and chubby
I bought 2 of these, as I really needed light shirts with sleeves for a trip to Thailand. Returned them both. I'm short and chubby, and the cut of the shirts were too long in the arm holes. Made me feel like I had webbed arms. Whenever I raised my arms, the whole short lifted.

I love everything about this shirt!!
This is such a great shirt I immediately ordered a second in another color. The fish motif is fun and the colors in both the aqua and the coral are beautiful. I usually do not like a synthetic material in my shirts but this seems to be the perfect combination of having some body without being stiff. The cut of the shirt is very flattering, shaped without being boxy. The shirts launder well and dry quickly. I hope to see more fun patterns next season.

Returned the Med for a Small. S fits perfect. I have narrow shoulders, and small chest, so needed the change. Complements always when I wear it. Really nice fabric and launders great. Hope they have it next season with other prints! Will need to order again then!
