Different cut
I have a few of these shirts and have enjoyed them through the years. This latest one is similar, but not the same. On this shirt the material seems a bit thinner and the shirt is cut a bit slimmer and shorter. On the collar they have replaced buttons with snaps. A nice addition is an additional zippered pocket.

I love these shirts! I've survived Melanoma twice. When I was young, we didn't know how foolish it was to not protect our skin. I never go out w/o sunscreen and this shirt.

Love the colour, the fit, length is perfect, material is a good mix, the colour mineral blue is actually turquoise , I get many compliments, pockets could be larger and secret pocket should be on both sides,
the only con...when rolling up the sleeve, the sleeve is not roomy enough to roll it up easily and tie it. This is the biggest flaw.

Nice look but not for strenuous activity
Nicely made but it does not breath well at all, so not suited for warm &/or humid weather, particularly if hiking or backpacking. Uncomfortable, even wearing in the house. The buttons are also quite small relative to other shirts so a bit fiddly to button up. Disappointed, but kept it as it was the only use of a gift card I could find. Will save for cold, breezy situations that are low exertion.

Tropic wear 50 SPF shirt
I purchased three of these long sleeve shirts in white, blue and light green and am very pleased with with the colors, fit and features. I am 6'3" tall with a 42" chest, 40" waist, 15 1/2" collar and weigh 221 lbs. I also just received a compliment of appearing "stylish and chic" in my white shirt during a WhatsAp conversation from a woman in Brazil :-)! ecg, 7/20/24

Perfect summer shirt!!
Love these Tropicwear shirts. Cool enough to wear all summer, while the long sleeves protect skin from the sun to prevent exposure reactions from medications. Always prefer 2-pocket shirts and even better that they come in tall sizes and an array of colors!

Great shirt - my husband's second one.
Great shirt for my husband who uses it constantly! He uses it to protect him from the sun, and it doesn't make him hot. The side vents in the rear are preferred over vents that open from the bottom.

We have Donkeys, Sheep and chickens here in Florida so in this heat I buy clothing that protects my husband from the sun and can handle perspiration when he is out taking care of them. Still a great shirt!
My husband has been wearing this type of shirt all Spring, Summer and Fall for more than 12 years. Unfortunately, he walked into a sharp branch which poked a hole right through it. I was going to patch it, but I decided to buy him a new one! The pockets are just what he needs and the straps to keep his sleeves rolled up work very well. The fabric weight makes it perfect for warm sunny days when he's trying to keep out of the sunlight.

Versatile
I bought the long sleeve version for sun protection during the day and some warmth as the cool evening approaches. Stylish, plenty of pockets, very functional. Nice colors to choose from. I even purchased one for my nephew who will be going to the Grand Canyon in August. Wear it for your outdoor adventures or look good at dinner in the evening. I highly recommend this product.

The shirt is fine, but comes with a L.L.Bean logo emblazoned over the left pocket. I do not buy clothes to advertise for the seller. Pay me to wear a sandwich board for advertising, don't make do your work for you.

Excellent Shirts
I bought two of these shirts and wore one or the other almost every day during a two week trip to Spain. We spent a lot of time outdoors in hot and sunny weather. The shirts are light and comfortable, and wash easily. They seem to be well made. I normally wear a medium size shirt, and that size works well for me for this product.
