Perfect Christmas Gift
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. My husband absolutely loves it. He keeps commenting about how soft it is and that it’s warm and blocks the wind.
It fits him great. He doesn’t like hats, so the hood is a great option for him.

Poor fitting.
The fabric inside the arm was stitched all twisted and could not get arm through. My son was so bummed that he could not get it replaced. He really wanted this shirt for Christmas.

Expensive for the quality
My husband loves these and I've bought several over the years. This one is noticably thinner than the prior ones. But the price isn't thin at $90. I previously wished they had more color options but am now looking for a similar garment elsewhere. If Bean's wants a fortune for their clothes they should mind the quality.

The best spring/fall layer!
These shirts are amazing, and are really a light top layer for lounging around the house, or in spring/fall weather. A plus are the front pockets to hold glasses, that snap shut if you're working in the yard or hiking so you don't lose them! I own 4 of these in various styles, and enjoy them thoroughly.

Fleece in the sleeves
This is a warm and comfortable fleece lined jacket. I live in Western NY near Rochester. This jacket with a long sleeve shirt keeps you warm above 55 degrees. Below 55 degrees you need to layer. This fleece has snaps not a zipper.
Pros: very nice looking jacket, warm and comfortable in cool temperatures, the hood covers my head well. My go to fleece when walking the dog.
Cons: It is slightly fitted.
I needed the Extra Large due to my pasta belly. The extra large is necessary for wearing layers underneath. I wish they sold it in a Traditional fit.
The fleece in the sleeves makes it difficult to get on and off if you are wearing layers. I read where some customers complain they wanted fleece in the sleeves in other jackets for the price they are paying. But, there are advantages to having the silky fabric in the sleeves. The fleece is a pro and a con. Just my opinion. *I would definitely recommend.*

Warm and snuggley. I bought this for myself as womens sizes tend to be too short for my comfort. This is perfect. Its warm and comfortable and perfect for a day working along side my other half prepping for winter. Or just snuggled up by the campfire.

As an owner of the button up version, disappointed
Wanted to get the hooded version of the button up one I had since around 2017 or so. Can't remember the exact year honestly. If I never had that version this one might have been satisfying enough to keep but unfortunately I did have it. Here's what I didn't like:
1) The pockets felt like they were randomly placed pocket squares. Could have lived with it.
2) The fabric felt exceptionally thinner and the inside was a much different material. Felt flimsy compared to my older version. This was the deal breaker. It was not the LLBean quality I was expecting based on my previous version and was quite disappointing.
3) Snap buttons felt kind of silly. While I had no problem I can see someone older having issues if they have dexterity issues in hands.
Honestly, if you've never seen the quality that these use to be you might like it. If you've had the older version, you won't like this as much. Really up to each person as everyone is different but hard pass for me at the $$ even on sale.

Quality lacking
Quality was not up to that of previous renditions of this jacket. Fabric was thinner, fit through shoulders was tighter, but it was baggy through the chest. Also preferred buttons to the snaps, that are a little hard on arthritic hands.
