So far so good
Disclaimer: haven’t worn in the woods yet. And haven’t worn for an extended period of time, but the sizing was on point with similar styles. And if this boot is anything like its non-insulated counterpart, I’m not worried about the frame, style or warmth. The non-insulated waterproof boot keeps my feet toasty.

Warm and Comfortable
I thought I'd try these boots because my feet are perpetually cold. I have always worn a size 12 but based on other folks' comments, I ordered size 13 and they fit perfectly!! These are not stiff leather boots that take forever to break in. They are comfortable right out of the box, and they look good too! I wear these boots every day and they keep my feet comfortably warm and dry. The ony negative thing I can say is that the reddish ornamentation appears to be a layer of "red rubber paint" over the white bottom that has begun to peel off after I accidentally scraped the boot against a rock. In time, I suspect the red will continue to peel away, but the boots are so comfortable and warm, I'm willing to overlook it. They're great boots, plus the price has been marked down significantly. Just be sure to order the next size up!!

Very nice warm boots!
Not only are these boots warm, they are a breeze to lace up and adjust, plus they look great!! I am a size 12 E but definitely not an EE, however, based on other customers' comments I ordered both a 12 and a 13, planning to keep the best fit. The 12 fit snugly but the 13 was just right. I have never worn a 13 in my life but this 13 is very comfortable. My advice is to order the next ½ size up unless your feet are a bit narrow. Be sure to wear heavier socks as you would for hiking. These material in these boots is thick and a bit spongy with insulation so they keep my feet warm all year. The boots look so good, I wear them a lot, not just for hiking. A great sale price, too!

The perfect boot.
The boots were a gift to someone who works the night shift outside in the miserable cold weather. He absolutely loves the boots. They're comfortable for all the walking he does and the ankle issues that some people seemed to have were not a problem for him. He has recently concluded that if his shoes/boots are made in the USA, he would order size 10.5. If they are manufactured elsewhere, size 11 is the better choice. So, that's what I did, Bean's site said the boots were imported so I ordered size 11 and they are just right for him.

Mountain Classic Waterproof Hiker Insulated
Little break in required, comfortable out of box. Easy to slip foot into, will be what I wear on plane as still heavy for packing. Traction good, no real negatives I have found yet. Regular boot size fit.

Wore these boots shoveling snow in 20 degree weather. They kept my feet warm and dry. Very comfortable as well. Styling is nice too.

Good poor-weather walkers
I bought these primarily to walk the dogs during miserable winter weather in Virginia, so pavement and light trail walking, level ground, potentially muddy or snowy. They are comfortable out the box, though a bit stiff around the ankle. Note that they are cut tight - one would reasonably expect a roomy cut for boots that aren't exactly meant for summer, to account for thick wooly socks that would go with ankle-high hikers, but anything more than cotton socks feels cramped in my regular size; if you plan to wear these with thick socks, order half a size up.
