Great boots
Truly do like these boots. Easy on and off with the zipper. Recently temp with windchill was -25 and feet were warm. Size wise they run roomy and wearing a hear sock is no issue. So I call it close to size. First pair of Bean boots, very happy.

Online shopping for shoe can't be done anymore
I didn't size down as recommended because there were no half sizes available. So the left shoe fit like a glove and the right was looser than socks on a rooster. Now my feet haven't changed so I know it's not that. You'd think that a $200 boot would have consistent sizing.

Size is off
I didn't size down as suggested. The left foot fit perfect and the right foot was looser than socks on a rooster.

Great boot!
I got these boots the day before a 6 inch snowfall. Great traction and warmth. In addition, they are easy on and off. Ordered half size down compared to my regular size as recommended and the fit perfectly.

Men's Fleeced -lined boots
Very comfortable! I wish I was aware that the boots lacked fleece in the foot area. However, thick wool socks solved that chill. I would certainly recommend this boots.

Great overall wet conditions boot
Comfortable boot for farm or hunting. Boot keeps feet dry and inner sole is comfortable to walk on for long days. The zippered front allows for quick slip on and go. Love the quality of this classic.

Low Quality - High Price
This boot is poorly made, the leather upper is thin, there is no heel counter, it has no fit per se. The zipper on one was well off-center.

Bean Boot 8" Front Zip Fleece Lined Insulated Men
I had a pair of these boots years ago. Great boots until my new pup decided they were a toy and chewed the toe off of one.
When I went to order a new pair they had been discontinued.
I was so happy to see that LL Bean offered them again and immediately ordered a new pair.
Fit is perfect and with same high quality workmanship that Bean boots have been known for for over a hundred years.
My go to boot for winter activities, whether it is rabbit hunting, taking dogs for a walk, or just going to mail box to get mail.
Thank you LL Bean for bringing back this great boot.

Probably the best boot I’ve ever owned.
Love these! Feet stay dry and warm. Very satisfied, it took 2 tries to get the right size tho. I wear 10.5 in running shoes, I ended up getting a size 9, they fit perfectly. Best thing about them is I can slide my feet into them while standing up and don’t have to fight to put them on or take off. Great for Wisconsin winter weather! Made in USA too!

Way too big
I got these in an 8 and a 9 to be good snow boots for winter that would be easy on and off. I typically wear an 8.5-9, but even in an 8, the heel section was way too lose, and my heel would continually lift up. Ironically, the toe bad felt right, so I think a 7 would have been ok in the heel but too tight in the toes. I never even tried on the 9 because there was no point. These were returned.

Great Insulated Zip Up Boot
Great pair of boots for colder weather wear, just what I had been looking for! Besides the famous . L. L. Bean waterproof lower boot, it had insulation and a zip up closure, which I needed due to a bad back.

Nice but too fat
Sole is soft, great for snow, not so much rain and mud, too much suction in Ohio mud. Bulky upper, plan on tucking your pants into the boot, or, wear knee socks, or you will be hating life.

Mystery Size Gamble
I had read reviews such as Randi's (12/31/23) who went thru the frustration
of 3 attempts to find the right size for her husband's size 9 1/2 foot. So
having a size 9 1/2 foot myself, I thought I would learn from her experience
and ordered a size 9 because I like to wear thick wool socks. When they
arrived, to my surprise and dismay they were still over an inch too long
even with my thick socks, and my foot slid around inside the boot! So I
returned them for a size 8, just like she had to do. Well the length was
finally right, but now the boot was too narrow and I had to send them back
too and cancel my order, which was very disappointing because this design
was exactly what I was looking for. Easy slip on and zip up. Come on L.L.
Bean, a whole size and a half down from my normal size? Why?

Love the boots, need a wider version
I love these boots. They run true to size, built for US feet for a change. My only problem is that they only come in a Medium width. At this price there is no reason they could not be offered in a Wide width! This has been a problem over the years with many boots, and shoes. Also no 1/2 sizes.

Boots run big.
My husband finally LOVES his LL Bean handcrafted boots size 8.
However, he normally wears a 9 1/2. We initially ordered a size 10, too big, returned for a size 9 still too big. Size 8 perfect! He wore the same thick, heavy socks with all three sizes.
