Nice Quality Coat
Nicely made coat. I bought this for my pug/Boston terrier mix. I bought her a size medium. It fits well. The straps under the belly are a little long but if you tuck them in properly it is fine. It covers her whole body. I did have to cut a little slit in the back so I could attach the lease to her harness. I put the harness under the coat. The hood is a little big, but I fold it over and it is fine. Overall those are just specific adjustments for my dog. The coat is nice I may get one for our other dog as well.

Something is missing..
This was a Christmas gift. The coat is beautiful and well made. Exception: The description of the coat DOES NOT STATE that a harness cannot be used for this coat nor is there a cutout opening to pull the leash thru. This most definitely should be stated in the description for this coat as well as all others.

perfect fit
soooo cute. perfect for 1 of our german shorthaired pointers. the med. is on the way for the other 1. even though it is off white i think it will wash well. now the dog can go out with my daughter who has the same" people" jacket.

Winter dog jacket
Fits my little guy perfectly. He is 9 lbs. I bought the small. the length keeps his back warm. Because it has adjustable Velcro straps. It fits perfectly. It definitely is his warmer jacket for cooler temps. I love it

Much more than I anticipated!
I bought the XL for Jerry, our sheepadoodle- who clocks in at a svelte 84lbs. It is perfect! I’m thrilled, as there isn’t a great selection for big dogs ANYWHERE. The M fits Millie the Aussiedoodle like it was bespoke (she’s 42lbs). They love the jackets, too. Took a minute to get used to the hood, but the colder it gets… : )

Love the look, softness, and how confortable it is
This fleece jacket is perfect. The only recommendation I have is that it would be nice if it had an open hook for the lead. Unfortunately, my Westie cannot use the hood when I take him for walks with the lead on.

Warm coat, just had to deal with the hood
We bought a size large,which is a bit big on our (approximately) 50 lb. dog, but overall it fits nicely, is easy to get on and off, and is very warm. The hood was a real problem at first. She is a hound mix and keeps her nose to the ground almost all the time when outside. It kept falling over her head and face and I was considering cutting it off until we realized we can fold it underneath the coat and keep it out of the way. Since then, the jacket working great and should be perfect for her as the New England winter sets in.

Not so fuzzy inside.
We were hoping for a cozy jacket for our pup. Although there’s a nice fuzzy outside, the inside is rather coarse. We returned it.

Sizing off
Purchased a medium for my 40lb pit bull which is usually her size and it was about 4in too short. So I exchanged for a large. Large was way too big. The length hung over her tail and the stomach velcro strap was way too long.

Perfect!

Practical tips
I had read scads of reviews on this coat. Almost purchased online but decided to go to the lk bean store. I’m glad I did. From other reviews I had a hard time deciding between small and medium. When trying it on, I went with the small for sure. My dog is an adult Cavalier King Charles, small for the breed at just under 13#. I had trouble getting accurate measurements as she was so wiggly. I always love reviews that mention the dog’s breed and weight as well as things like quality.
FYI, there are no holes in my coat - not for a collar hookup or for a halter hookup. Especially if your dog wears a harness for walks, you would have to cut a little slit to attach a leash. Good to know in advance. I took a star off for that.
I would call this coat a MID- weight, unless the Sherpa is warmer than I think.

Adopted pups from TX loving their jackets!
These were gifted to us and we LOVE them! Walter is an 11 lb rat terrier/chihuahua mix and Lucy is a 12 lb chi mix, both have on size small and they fit great! Good quality too! I love that the flannel one has a slit to hook the leash to the harness. The Sherpa one does not but still worked well.

Cozy Little Dog
Such a cozy and warm coat for my very small dog. The coat fits him well, but the hood over his head was too large and would allow him only to look at the ground--or snow-- he was walking on. I used a needle and thread to stitch the rim of the hood to the neck of the coat. This gives him total visability as well as warmth at the back of his head.
