Cheap cotton. Ridiculous lint.
Lint required 12 dryer cycles to reach levels that did not plug the filter and lint housing. The manufacturer used cheap cotton thread bulked up by using waste lint in the spinning of the thread. A very old trick, per my Chemical/Textile Engineer father. This and the other size of this rug are the worst quality products we have ever bought from LL Bean.

Cheap Cotton. Ridiculous lint in the dryer
Cheapskate manufacturing. Extreme quantity of lint. Plugged the dryer filter and housing. Required 12 air fluff cycles over a period of 6 hours to reduce lint production to normal levels. This is a low-quality product made by bulking up the fabric with the addition of cheap short-staple cotton from waste lint when spinning the thread used to make the bath mat.
It's an old trick, per my father, a Chemical/Textile Engineer & Textile Chemist. Both the 27" x 44" and the 21" x 34" bath mats are the worst products we have ever purchased from LL Bean.

Great bathroom rug
I purchased two of these in the silver moon for my bathroom and just love them. They are very soft and the color is beautiful. The non-slip backing also keeps them in place.

This rug in 27 x 44 Silver Moon is so nice that I just bought a second one. Won't slip on tile. Comfy on feet. Seems well made. Good color with my old peach tile but new wallpaper.

Great Rugs!
These rugs are just perfect for my bathroom. They stay in place and are easy to vacuum. They are a bit thin, but that is actually preferred as they are not a tripping hazard. They are a little pricey, but I am hoping they will hold up well over time.

These absorb so much water that they broke my washing machine-the motor. Even the brand new one stopped working due to an "imbalance". I am disappointed because they were very nice to stand on. an expensive mistake

Impossible to dry in Front Loader
The mat is so heavy and absorbent of water that it is impossible do dry in an Electrolux Front Load Washer and Dryer. Tried to spin it 4 times and still dripping wet.

Bluestone premium cotton bath mat Awful
I purchased this rug awhile ago and washed and dried it. The amount of lint that appeared on my lint collector in my dryer was truly unbelievable. I had to remove the lint twice before the lint collector was finally empty. It was completely covered with lint. I then looked into my dryer and saw even more lint inside. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures that could show the horrible mess that was on my lint collector in my dryer. Please beware of drying this rug in a dryer. Although it says on a tag that the rug will have excessive lint, this amount was truly unacceptable. I will never buy another rug from LLBean.

Loved it but just not the right colors for me
Loved the rug but not the color, while very pretty (Sea Sage) it just did not work in my bathroom. I did try another color (silver moon) and it also did not work for me so I returned them both. Wish LL Bean would have more colors to choose from!!

Not exactly a sage green color
I purchased 2 of these rugs for my bathroom. However only one arrived and I was told I would not receive the 2nd one as they were out of stock. That was ok as the Sea Sage color did not match my bathroom anyway. It’s more of an aqua. But as luck would have it, it matched my half bath, where I needed only one rug perfectly. It’s soft and does not slip. Only 4 stars because the color online is deceiving.

Exactly what I wanted.
I love the color (light blue) and the texture. I have not washed it yet, so I can’t comment on that. I think this rug is a bit pricey but it fits my needs. I banking on LlBean’s quality!
