These are really great pants. Nice casual look and very comfortable.

Comfortable fabric and good construction.
I purchased a pair of these pants when they were on sale, and I liked them so much that I purchased them in two additional colors. They are extremely comfortable and have excellent, generous pockets. I can wear them to work as a teacher, but they are great for a night out or casual weekend wear.

Unsightly length
My ongoing frustration with L.L.Bean and other manufacturers of pants is that leg lengths are provided only in even numbers of inches. Thus I am forced to choose between pants that look rediculously too short or are annoyingly too long. I need the 31 inch length. Therefore, not possessing sewing skills, I must now find a tailor to rehem my newly purchased (and otherswise fine) pants to a wearable length. I would be willing to pay a litte more for being able to order the currently unavailable 31 inch length. I can't be inonly a tiny ignorable minority. Help?

POOR QUALITY
I ordered two pairs of these pants as I'd bought them previously. Unfortunately, LL Bean has greatly reduced their quality. The pants are extremely thin, have limited pockets and buttons, and don't fit comfortably. It's sad to see a company like LL Bean become like all the others.

The fit has changed
Not the same fit as the exact same pants I bought 2 years ago. The new pants are 2 inches longer, too big in the waist, very baggy all around and the rise is much longer. I returned them. Thinking that it may have been mismarked I tried on others in the store. Same bad fit. What happened to the recipe???

Pants that look good and help you feel good!
I purchased one pair of these chino pants and liked them so much I bought a second pair. The pants are very comfortable and that little bit of stretch moves with you but doesn’t cling. Especially like the waist stretch as I’m not exactly a lean bean. Typical Bean quality that looks good no matter where you go.

Chino Classic Fit Pant
The pants fit perfectly. We have found that the absolute best way to purchase pants requiring "unusual" waist (35") and length (29") sizes is to go to LL Bean. (It's nearly impossible to find this size in most stores at any time.) They fit well, look great, are comfortable and were reasonably priced. What's not to like

The pants are long in the rise and while the inseam ordered was short (29”) they were longer than expected and felt “baggy”. Other than the fit the product is nice with good quality and texture.

Poor Pants
Disappointing. Pants wrinkles and they look and feel cheaply made. I bought them for a trip and had to reorder something else. I'll use them around the house but first product from Bean that I've been disappointed in.

Design flaws
Thought I’d branch out from decades of classic chinos and, while the fabric may be fine, there are design problems. Five belt loops, not 7 like classic, and belt space as wide as blue jeans make use of a belt useless. A small sewn in insert panel at the bottom of front pockets reduces the vertical pocket opening and less easy to put hands in. Returning two pairs and back to classics

Be careful on length
Like these pants, but for some reason the pair I got with my usual 32" inseam were about an inch short and went way up the ankle when I sat down. I'd gotten a different pair of Bean pants at the same time at 32" and they were fine, so must be something about this cut or vendor. Anyway I returned and reordered at 34" and of course they are too long..

Great khakis, great fit (standard)
I wear these pants as much as I wear my LLB jeans. The only request for improvement is: not to sew the back pockets to the pants. This is for 2 reasons: 1) there are small wrinkles which appear around the stitching, which looks odd and 2) it makes the pants look like they have patch (jeans) pockets, which is against some business' dress code.
