Nice looking top
High neck tankini keeps straps on my small shoulders. The rouching keeps the top from rising up in the water. I have another llbean tankini top but prefer this one for the reasons mentioned. This top’s color goes with my other suit’s skirted bottom so I only needed to purchase the top.

Super cute
I bought this suit for a trip to the Outer Banks. I got a lot of compliments from my family on finally springing for a new suit. It fit as expected I am 5’5” , 125 lbs and ordered size 6 reg. The BIG problem was that the suit is fully lined and after 15minutes of playing in the waves the lining filled up with sand. The sand settled at the hemline and had no way
out!! I had to cut a hole in the lining of my brand new suit to release the sand. About a 1/4 cup of sand!! So if you are the kind who likes to swim in a pool or if you do t go in the waves this would be a b great suit. I wound up cutting out the lining up to the bra and was able to use it for the rest of the vacation.

Not good if you have a tummy!
If you are overweight and have a tummy, this is not the tankini for you. I was hoping it would be a bit loose in the tummy area because i wanted to like it for the fact that it has a clip at theback of the neck to prevent neckline droopage.
Didn't get that far - saw my tummy in it and said - nope!
I like llbean but would hope that some buyers would remember that not all women have the same shape.

Not flattering
I had read that side ruching would minimize the look of belly fat. This tankini top made me look more chubby than I really am so I returned it. The fabric is beautiful and I really liked the portrait back but it was very unflattering.

I am older and have been swimming laps for decades. I prefer modest tankini tops but they are so hard to get off when wet. These tops solve that problem along with being stylish, chlorine resistant and very high quality. Very, very happy.

Very comfortable
I've been looking for a swim top like this. It's comfortable yet doesn't put my girls on display or slide off my shoulder. I also like the way if fits around the front of my arm pit area. It doesn't cut in or rub like some other styles. I'll definitely order this style again!

The material is quality and soft, it's lined, the colors are so fun and summery and I love the higher neck. Fits perfect, love this tankini. I am 5'5, 170 lbs and the XL is perfect, but I like suits to be on the looser side so I can get them off when wet. Recommend

High-Neck Tankini
I really love this top. I was looking for a high necked tankini top to protect areas of skin affected during recent radiation treatments and surgery. The front is fully lined and the cups are attached so no inserts getting out of shape. The colors are nice too.

Great Option for Water Exercise Classes.
I really like the Tankini Top. It is a little longer than I am used to, but it will work. I prefer a T-Back on swimwear so the shoulder straps don't slip off of my shoulders. Someone mentioned that it is difficult to hook/unhook. I can slip it over my head to get dressed and it is easy to unhook when it is wet and let it slip toward the floor. The shearing on the sides is not noticeable/bulky. The armholes are a little loose on me but nothing is revealed so I can also work with that. I like the material and the color. I am hopeful that it is "Chlorine resistant" as I am using this for Water Exercise classes in YMCA. It is also a good choice for lap swimming.

I purchased a size 10 - they were out of 8s. The 10 will work fine but it's a little long on me. Not a problem, it still looks great. Nice color, great fabric - I am sure I will be wearing this suit for a long time. The top is well lined, the bra provides soft support. Very comfortable.

Just what I needed
Very happy with this top, although I have to agree with some of the other reviews that it is easier to put on feet first and pulling it up instead of pulling it over your head and shoulders. The fastener in the back is a bit of a challenge, but is not too bad once you familiarize with how it works. I ordered the size I usually wear and it fits well. I had no problems with this top in the water.

Great tankini option for older women.
I was quite pleased with this tankini. While others had negative comments about the clasp at the back neck, I did not find it a problem at all. As an older woman I appreciate that LL Bean offers a a modest style that does not make me feel overexposed. It is comfortable, fits well and the colors are beautiful.

The hook was the deal breaker
I ordered a size too small, which was my bad, and would have exchanged for a larger size, but the hook on the back below the neck was too challenging for me. I would have found it too annoying. The pattern is beautiful.

Flattering and Fits Great
Very happy with this tankini. Flattering fit and beautiful design. Wore it for water walking three to four times a week over the course of several months. After about 70 wears the elastic started to give and the color had faded having consistently hand rinsed it and hung it to dry. After looking around I still think LLBean has the best fit and good construction and am replacing this suit with the one piece version.
