Roomy, Comfy, Design could use a bit of tweaking
Purchased Petite M for myself, and Petite XXS for my daughter. I followed other reviews, sized down and so glad I did, roomy enough for a longsleeve fleece jacket underneath. Comfy. Really wish it had an inside pocket for my phone and double zippers. Good thing I purchased on sale, and it looks nice on so we'll keep!

Love these retro vests !
Love this puffer vest! This is my second one. . . They are very versatile for those of us that live in the south. These are not very thick. If you are looking for something to keep you warm in colder climates, this would probably not work for you- maybe for fall or spring only. I live in Texas and find myself reaching for these vests most days. Great for errands and walking the dog. Gives a little bit of warmth and protection from the elements without overheating 🥵
They also wash very well on gentle and then hang dry. I get so many compliments! They remind me of a beloved coat I had back in the 80s . . . Love it 🥰

Wish I was able to keep it.
The vest is beautiful, well made but I couldn’t keep it because it runs big. Even though I exchanged it to XSmall petite, there was not much of a difference from the regular small.

Lightweight but super warm
When I received this vest, I was disappointed about how lightweight it was. But I loved the colors and the fit, so kept it. The first time I wore it out, I only had a cotton sweatshirt on under the vest. It was about 40 degrees but was only going to be out about an hour. I couldn’t believe how warm it kept me. Much warmer than my thick puffer vests and pretty windproof, too. Don’t let the thinness fool you. This is a very warm vest.

I am an eighties baby and this vest def gave me a feel of nostalgia from that decade. As far as relevant rating criteria however the vest seems to run a tad bigger than items typically this same size and it is relatively thin. Think vest or semi puffer vest but not puffer vest

Fun colors but runs BIG!
This is a lightweight, thin vest, but the colors are unique and fun enough to make it a keeper. I seem to always wear medium, but I did have to exchange this for a small, as the medium was really big around the waist. The small is much better and still fits well around the chest.

Runs very large
Love this vest! It runs very large compared to other brands. I am usually a Medium (5'9" | 150lbs) but this vest's Small is still significantly larger than a Medium in other brands. The medium was comically large in my opinion!

awesome lightweight vest!
great vest, and i love the color block styling! the insulation is a little lighter than i would have liked, i feel the need to layer up a lot more with than some of my other vests.
also note, the item is sized quite large, i initially ordered a medium, and ended up exchanging it for a small - and was tempted to exchange again for an x-small for a tighter fit.

stylish but not functional
I really love the retro style of this vest but agree with another review that it is not a 'puffer' vest, it's actually quite thin and not worth the price because of that. It also fits a bit big, I originally ordered a small (I'm 5'5" and weigh 135lbs) and had to return it for an extra small. The stomach area is still quite loose. Overall though I love the style, but it's only good for layering or for a cool temp day.

Very thin, poor quality
I usually praise LLBean for their excellent quality clothing; however, this vest was small for a 1X, fabric was very thin, poor quality, and colors were not as pictured. Overall, very disappointed with this item. Would not recommend buying.
