Great Corduroy Shirt
Originally purchased one of these a few years ago, but the color I chose looked much different once it was delivered, so I returned it for a refund. I think LL Bean recently started offering this in a burgundy/rust color, so I ordered one to see if I'd like it. The color is great, the shirt looks good on me, and it's very warm...perfect for winter. This item runs big if you're only wearing over a t-shirt (which is what I prefer), so I'd suggest ordering a size down if that's how you plan to wear it. If you plan to wear this more as a jacket or outer layer, then you may be able to stick with your original size. I normally wear a Large (I'm a 42 Long jacket size), but I ordered this in a Medium Long, and it fits me almost perfect. The sleeves are a little short, but the Large size would be too big on me.

Michigan winters
Husband absolutely loves this! The fleece inside is very heavy, which is great for Michigan winters.

Ultra warm and comfortable Shirt Jac!
This is one of my favorite garments that I've ever owned. It fits nicely and it's very warm and comfortable. This recent purchase was my 2nd one, as it was on sale and I couldn't resist having a backup. I love this Shirt Jac!

More than a Shirt Jac
This jacket can handle some serious cold weather in the Northeast. Just know the "coal" color is definitely blue and not black.

Cool looking comfy jacket but falls short
Very cool looking and comfy shirt/jacket, but there are two main issues.. first as most others say, the snaps are comically small and are difficult to snap. My input to LL Bean: please use bigger snaps, or a zipper, or even buttons. Any of those options would be great. I was going to overlook this and keep it, but the big issue I can't overlook is that the sleeves are too short. For reference I'm 6'0" 170lbs and exactly sample Medium size - which I know because my partner works apparel and I always get the sample test garments (which are mediums) from many companies. These sleeves expose like 2+ inches of my wrists, which looks weird and awkward, so the fit is off. Too bad, because it looks so cool, I would've loved to have it as a light jacket. Lots of people say it's too big, so I don't get if mine was just defective. I also ordered the "Men's Sherpa-Lined Scotch Plaid Shirt (Slightly Fitted)" (I already own one and I love it so much I got another), and it fits perfectly. But I understand they're different styles and fit. I added pics of the sleeves of both these shirt jackets for comparison.

Good overall
Good shirt jack overall but coal as a color is more like a navy blue instead of a black or dark gray

Snaps are too small
I like the jacket but there is a design flaw. The snaps are too small. Because the corduroy is thick, the snaps become recessed into the corduroy making them hard to snap.

Not what I was expecting
Sized way too big. I’m 5’ 11” tall, 190 lbs. I ordered a large…fits like an overcoat, NOT like a shirt-jacket is supposed to fit. If it wasn’t for the cumbersome undersized snaps, I would gladly exchange this for a smaller size.

Snaps too small.
This corduroy shirt jacket is good quality and fit. The problem with it is the snaps are too small for the heft of the fabric and very difficult to snap closed. It would be very nice if it weren’t for that.

Great Jacket/shirt
Very warm Shacket. I haven’t been able to wear it a lot due to the warmer weather in South Western Ohio, but it has been comfortable when I was able to wear it. Some reviews were negative about the button size, they are on the small side, but not a show stopper, and I have arthritis in my hands. Size runs a little big, I am 5’8” 235lbs. and the XL fits great! I would buy again!

Love it...
The size large is roomy and comfortable by itself and with a lightweight sweater, as an added layer during cold temps. The length is perfect and the metal snaps are a breeze to fasten and unfasten quickly. I love the look and feel of this style shirt jac that is worn everyday.

Exactly what I was looking for
Well made, heavy duty, nice quality. Will last for many years with heavy use. I wear anywhere from medium to XL shirts and medium fit well for me with this shirt/jacket.

Warmer than I expected
Was looking for a lightweight shirt jacket, but this was a bit overkill for what I needed. I still like it a lot. Kept me warm in Montreal with just a sweater underneath.

Perfect fall, winter outer shirt.
I've had mine for around 17 years in dark green. Always loved it. Can't hardly wait for the colder whether to put it back into action again.

Huge - order at least one size down
Going by the size chart, I ordered my usual size (XL), and this shirt jac was huge! It felt good up top, but was like a tent at the waist...a big tent. I returned it.

Looks great, warm, comfortable, perfect fit
I love this shirt, it's very comfortable, warm, looks great, and fits me very well, which is rare because I'm an unusual size. I bought two of them in different colors. Functionally I like the pockets, but they do add a little bulk in the midsection, and I could do without them.

1912 Heritage Lined Shirt Jac Corduroy
Bought this last fall. Have received many compliments on it, and it's warm and comfy, and I enjoy wearing it. Only downside is that I have the Olive Green color and the sun is fading it a bit, but I can't say it really bothers me. I recommend buying this.
