Great snowshoes for my son
After doing some research on what size to get my son, I decided on these 21 inch Men’s Winter Walker snowshoes. He is a very tall 4’7” 8 year old who weighs 69 pounds. Although he is slightly under the recommended weight range for these this year, he won’t be for long and these will last him many years! Another factor that led me to these is that the men’s model has 2 straps securing the foot to the boot, which seemed superior to the the kids’ model which had only 1 strap. He has only used them once so far, but they worked great for him. Admittedly they are not as easy to get on and off as my Boa Rec Pathfinder, but not difficult. The heel strap had to be re-secured once during our inaugural trek, but that could have been my fault.

Straps too short to fit over size 12 boots
Bought these for my dad and the straps were so short that he couldn't come close to fastening them over his boots. They were short by 4-5 inches; we're sure he was doing it correctly as we took them into an LL Bean store. If buying for anyone over a size 12 men's shoe, their boot will not fit in straps. Actual snowshoes, poles and pack seemed great so just a huge miss in creating something for someone up to 275 lbs but a tiny foot.

Great Snowshoes
Went snowshoeing with my wife, who was in her brand new LL Bean snowshoes also. These are sturdy and very easy to strap on and go. Very light weight and easy to maneuver around. I recommend these to anyone interested in taking up snowshoeing or have done it for years.

Different / Fun Way to WALK!
Santa brought both myself and hubby snow shoes this Christmas! Only had chance to go once. But fun!!! Both male and female shoes were easy to adjust, put on and quick to adjust in walking with them. I would recommend first time in fresh snow as walking in snow with prior footprints was a little more difficult. Only fault we found were the bottom tip covers ... they do not fit snug and just keep sliding off. Poles adjusted easy and worked very well. Looking forward to another snowstorm!!!
