They burn too well!!!
A fire erupted at the end of my bed, while I was taking a nap. The boot slippers, tough very comfortable, caught fire immediately and were virtually destroyed. I am glad I wasn't wearing them in the bed while napping or they would still be stuck to my feet.
I survived, but they di not. Maybe I'll get another pair- if I dare.!

Great Quality
Very comfortable - I wear them for my daily exercise (Chi exerciser, step machine , inclined pushups, & rowing) - about an hour and 15 minute’s daily. Don’t wear them for my morning and evening mini-bike rides as they are a little big for the pedals.

Not as Comfortable as I’d Hoped
The main positive in wearing these slippers is how warm they are the moment you put them on. Unfortunately, as listed in many reviews, the bottom of the slippers are very “lumpy” and my feet are not very comfortable- due to this. I was hoping mine would be different.

Nice and comfortable
The soles are very stiff and a bit loud when I walk on the hardwood floor but I still like them a lot. I wish half sizes were available. I wear a 10.5 and I bought a 11 it fits ok but a tad long. I will recommend them.

OK. Could be Better
If I lived in an apartment with carpeting or wood floors these would be perfect for cold mornings. However, I lived in a rural house and wear them outside to the trash can, the wood pile, the front gate. Walking on the 1/2 gravel and being large sized, the soles are too thin. I added a 1/2 wool felt sole insert and that helps. The next problem is the upper front, what I might call the "tang", is too floppy. It has fallen over onto the slipper. I need to add some kind of cord to keep it in place. Otherwise, a great sliipper.

Reluctant hubby loves them!
After purchasing a pair of these for myself and loving them, I ordered a pair for my husband. When they arrived, and he tried them on, he was unsure if he liked them and was reluctant to keep them. I urged him to walk around in them a bit and now he loves them. He usually wears a 9 4E and I ordered him a 9 W and they’re wide enough and incredibly comfortable.

Warm and cozy!
The slippers are warm and comfortable. I thought they might be a bit difficult to put on due to the design and height, but that is not at all the case. I where them around the house and definitely plan to wear them on cold airline flights.

Bad sizing
I ordered a size 14 slipper, which is a little on the large side for me, but 13 is too small.
These were not even 13. Something less. Maybe 12, although marked 14. I write this but you reject my review. Why is that? You don't really want an honest review?

Well made, poor fit. I wear normal width shoes and the length was normal, but toe area is very narrow. This made the slippers uncomfortable and returned. Very disappointing for a pricey pair of slippers

Solid house shoe.
These are sturdy house shoes. After about 3 months they are holding up well. I suspect I'll get many years of wear out of them. The soles have enough cushion for my old feet. The sizing is standard.

Very warm and comfortable. Living in Cleveland and living with cold feet, I always look in LL Bean's for footwear that offers me warmth and comfort. Even though I am female, I prefer men's footwear because I can wear a size 8 vs size 10. As I have been wearing male footwear for a number of years, I have discovered that their men's footwear lasts longer.

2 different widths
This was going to be my 2nd pair of these. Absolutely loved my first pair!! After opening the box, I noticed the right slipper looking different (more rounded toe) and didnt really think anything of it. I put them on that night and immediately noticed my right slipper had MUCH more space than the left. I checked the tags and both say "9 Medium". My right foot slides around and heel lifts from the slipper. There is also some of the shearling that started to pop of the toe of the same slipper (not a major concern, just more evidence of poor qaulity). Unfortunately this is not my first, or second, experience with poor quality from L.L. Bean in recent years.
