Socks for shoulder seasons.
I like these socks for hiking, biking and daily use during winter, spring and fall. The light weight and breathability make them comfortable except for hot days. I have similar socks in medium weight which make my feet too sweaty for life above zero.

I bought these socks in three colors ,trusting the reviews, for a hiking trip in the Pacific Northwest. These sox did not disappoint. They were comfortable. My feet did not sweat or itch. The socks protected my ankles from chaffing in my hiking boots.When I crossed streams , they wicked the water and kept my feet dry . I bought the light version for summer,and I will definitely come back for the heavier version this winter.

Excellent fit and performance
I wear these around the house all winter with my 'Berks'. Yet they also are a more comfortable stand-in for the traditional white cotton athletic socks inside work boots - even in summer. They breath and do not retain sweat even in the heat. They're not cheap, but they last years.

I got size medium. I wear size 8 wide shoe. The foot area fits well. The height is good. But the top is too tight and creates deep ridges on my ankles. The socks are for people with thin ankles.

Pilled & Don't hold shape
Bought these for son because I was sold on the description. After wearing they've pilled too much & have not held their shape after washing. I had expected a lot more for such a costly pair of socks. Not holding up after the first wear & wash I'm doubtful how they'll last in long run. I find other reviews too generous for these costly pair of socks

Warm but Wicking
I purchased these socks for a trip to northern India in April (spring season). I wore them with hiking boots and they kept my feet dry by wicking away the sweat. The cushion was great! My feet were warm wearing them but did not get sweaty or other.
We were mostly in the cities and I chose hiking boots and socks due to the likelihood of uneven terrain and to keep my feet and ankles safe.

Comfortable and warm lightweight socks
These socks are wonderful. I have neuropathy in my feet and they often become icy cold and achy in the evening. I put these socks on and it's like magic; my feet feel so much better. The socks are lightweight enough to fit comfortably in my shoes or slippers, but also very warm. If my neuropathy is really bad, I sleep with the socks on. I highly recommend them.

Comfortable soft socks
Great socks. Wear them all the time. Oddly enough, even though the socks are described as light weight, the label on the pair I received is marked medium weight. The socks are may be slightly more than light weight, but worked well for me. I prefer lighter weight, hiking socks. The other odd thing was that there was a price tag on the socks, for several dollars less than what I paid.

Love llbean clothing.These socks are not the quality we're used to though.As another reviewer said, the first wash result was unbelievable~and Not in a good way.
Second wash made them look like thrift store rejects.Definitely a disappointment. Feels like money thrown in the trash.

I love my Cresta socks that I bought a couple of years ago I have a blue pair and a purple pair. However, when I washed these for the first time, one of them looks like it was clawed and has pulls all over it. Still wearable but just didn't hold up as the other three plus 2 (purple).
