Great nightgown
I really like the nightgown - I have been wearing LLB nightgowns for 20 years, probably more. I did feel like this was not a true Large - if Large is supposed to be 14-16, it is skimpy. Thankfully I am closer to a 14 than 16 but it could have been roomier.

Soft Pima Cotton
Very soft material, good fit, and nice print. It’s hard to find pima cotton nightgowns. So glad LL Bean carries them as I get too warm in other materials. The length could be a bit longer though. I bought a medium regular, and I’m 5’7” 125 lbs. I think it will shrink 1-2” in length, even on a low dryer setting. I wish the print were a bit more modern, but the blue, white, and lavender flowers are pretty.

Cotton comfort nightie
I love the simplicity of these nighties & that they are 100% cotton without spandex. They’re comfortable & cool to sleep in. Wish they came in more colors. I will continue to order them & highly recommend them if comfort is your main priority. They wash & dry beautifully & do not shrink. I am 5’4” & weigh 138lbs. I bought the Med & Lg - the Med was a little snug the Lg fit comfortably.

Heavy fabric and runs small
Based on other reviews, I ordered this nightgown in Large rather than my usual Petite Medium. It still feels slightly snug around the shoulders and hips. The fabric is silky soft, but feels heavy for a summer nightgown. The floral pattern is pretty. I would not recommend.

My favorite nightgowns
These are the best nightgowns, soft, silky cotton, so comfortable. I wish LL Bean sold long sleeve nightgowns for winter as well as their 3/4 and short sleeve. I find these to be true to size and they was up perfect (cold wash, regular dry). I'd love more color options.

Bad materials! It says it’s cotton, but this is a very thick cotton fabric that has a synthetic feel. It’s hot and uncomfortable. Nothing I would want to sleep in.

Perfect nightgown, at last!
I now have three of these. They fit true to size, wash and dry perfectly, and the fabric is soft and comfortable: not clingy, not see through, and no scratchy label! I am a petite M, but I get a reg L for a little extra length and roominess.
