Perfect sizeThis backpack is very durable. I took it backpacking to 3 countries in South America and it was considered a personal item on all flights.

Solid durable quality, limited storage pocketsDisappointed with the very limited pockets (1 small accessories type pocket inside). I should have looked more closely at the size/storage.

Nice pack, but smaller than expectedI was looking for a 30 L pack to take as carry on on an international flight. This one met the size limits, and it was 35L! So I was disappointed when it arrived and seemed much smaller than I expected. Multiplying the dimensions listed, I discovered that it’s only 1552 cu. in., or 25 L, not the 2135/35 L advertised. A call to customer service revealed that they include the dimensions of the internal pockets, which subtract from overall volume rather than add to it! So I’m sending it back. Still, it’s a nice, if somewhat small, pack. Just not what I was looking for.

Great "do everything" outdoor backpackI bought this be a "do everything" backpack, primarily for day hikes, but also for travel, and general every day use, and it achieves that goal very well. So while it is not the peak of performance in any one of those individual categories (dont expect it to be a super technical backpack) it is just simple and solidly good in all of them, which is exactly what I wanted. It seems to be built very ruggedly, like it will stand up to years of hard use, lots of straps and lashing points for easily attaching gear or removed layers while on the move, the side pockets fit standard 32 oz bottles nicely, the internal frame gives some good rigidity for heavier loads, and overall just looks great. My only complaints would be the hip belt could maybe use a bit of padding for longer day hikes (but that would be at the expense of some of the backpacks overall versatility) and a few more interior/exterior pockets would be a nice addition (it only has one small interior one and a hydration pouch). But overall a great general purpose outdoor backpack!
