Fit the bill!
I am a fan of corduroy and this shirt is perfect. Sturdy, yet is comfortable. It is just the right length too. I can use it alone or as a shirt jacket, over my LLB long sleeve cotton tees. Size med reg. Orange.

Another great corduroy shirt
Color is great and corduroy is a nice weight. I always get a tall size and LLBean is usually pretty consistent with tall proportions. The sleeves are long enough but I do wish the body was a bit longer. I don't need a tunic, just a bit longer. Would make a nicer sillouette.

Corduroy Shirt
The shirt is stiff and too thick. I bought it to replace one that I had from llbean .I thought was the same. Really disappointed ! The pockets are double in corduroy making it even thicker

OK but not great

Simply perfect

Great shirt but the color was off . .
The ONLY reason I didn't rate this with five-stars is because the "dark plum rose" color in the catalog was way off from the comfort corduroy received. The color just looked dingy. I returned it. I own several and they are my "go to" winter shirt, especially around the home. I run cold (yes, in sunny southern California) so I still need to wear a couple of layers underneath. Over the years, LL Bean has improved the design by adding pockets and adjusted the pocket-lining color for a better match to the shirt. I will purchase more because I do love the shirts. I'm 5'5", 120#, and wear a medium petite for the shorter arm length.

Love these Big shirts, i use them for coats, I'm HOT BLOODED and love the room, and especially the colors ! its my second one, i have the turquoise greenish, now i have the lagoon blue , i don't know what they call them, but my interpretation works for me, ordered 2x fit is great

Super cute and soft - better than my 10 y.o shirt!
This shirt exceeded my expectations. The fabric is VERY soft and of good quality. The fabric is so soft that it could be worn by a baby! It is on a thicker side, so the shirt could be used as an extra layer during chilly weather. As for the side pockets - I would rather not have them, but I am OK with having them. I purchased one shirt in foggy blue. It is a powdery pastel blue, very close to the color of light wash jeans. Looks good on Blondes! I also purchased in adobe rose. Again, it is on a pastel side and it has very warm undertone. If you have 'warm' skin undertone - it will look perfect on you. I just ordered a 3rd one - in light khaki. These shirts are perfect for FL weather during autumns, winter and spring. Very versatile.

This is a wonderful shirt. The corduroy is so soft. The color (Larkspur) is a lovely soft rich dark lavender; I got the matching turtleneck and it instantly becomes "dressy" lunch paired with jeans (I'm retired; that's as dressed up as I get! I have it on now to leave for lunch soon.). I usually wear an M in all Bean things but for coats I buy a L to layer; this I bought a Tall Large -- it hits at the bottom of my bottom; I am 5'6" 150 lbs. It is very roomy since it is one size up for me. The pockets are big and deep but even better there are two giant "pockets" inside the front of each side because of the very fine design to make the real pockets stable. I love pockets; I never carry a bag/purse. I reiterate -- this is super soft fabric, not stiff like so many corduroys.

Cord "shirt"
This is a beautiful product. I was expecting a slightly heavy shirt, but this is closer to a jacket.
I've worn it several times and it is great. No mention in the catalog of side pockets ,but I use them. The color I wanted was sold out - although i see it in the current catalog - but I am very happy with the blue that I purchased. It's almost periwinkle.

A little disappointed
Ordered a large. Still very oversized. (I had ordered a sweater in xl and it was perfect, so this shirt runs pretty big) I think the fabric is wonderful. It’s soft and heavy and the colors are beautiful. But I washed this and the collar tweaked horribly and ironing is not helping. The hem and binding is twisted and strange. I really thought it would come out a lot nicer. The sleeves are a little short. Could really use another inch or so.

Runs a little small
This runs a little small but most LL Bean clothes do. Knowing that, I ordered the next size up and I love this shirt jacket. Unlike others, I do not find that the side pockets add any bulk. It's very soft and comfortable. I have just now ordered a second one.

Tweaked design.
I had not purchased one of these shirts in several years. I use them as indoor jackets to take off the chill.
I was sorry to the discover the design has been tweaked to add a baggy useless pocket inside the shirt. It ruins the line (makes it look even baggier)
--no doubt inflates the price as well. Will not buy another one.
I would like the endless tweaking of designs to end.
